When I change the channel from the mini-guide, GB-PVR sends the IR Code twice for the new channel number. The second send of the channel number is immediately after the first send and my Sat Box misses the first digit and tunes to the wrong channel.
The problem does not occur if I choose the channel from the main TV Guide or if I type in the channel number directly.
Is there any way to stop the mini-guide from sending the channel # twice?
In a skin, when you highlight a button, an image shows on the screen. For example, with Video Archiver, a film reel shows up. Where are the callouts for these to be able to change them.
Sub, it seems that the GBPVR tray application is initializing plugins when it is starting up. The reason I know this is because the BleepBloop plugin's startup.wav file is being played when the Tray application is loading.
Code:
4/25/2005 4:52:13 PM.253 VERBOSE [27] getValue() loading new key/value into cache: /settings/EPGProcessingMode
4/25/2005 4:52:13 PM.253 VERBOSE [27] getValue: /settings/EPGProcessingMode : NORMAL
4/25/2005 4:52:13 PM.253 VERBOSE [27] getValue cached value: /settings/EPGProcessingMode : NORMAL
4/25/2005 4:52:15 PM.426 VERBOSE [27] SourceConfigurationContainer.LoadAll()
4/25/2005 4:52:18 PM.550 VERBOSE [27] BleepBloop Monitor Initialized
4/25/2005 4:52:19 PM.412 VERBOSE [27] MyVideosTask created
4/25/2005 4:52:20 PM.744 VERBOSE [27] Loading DirectRecordingSource Configuration : 1
4/25/2005 4:52:20 PM.984 VERBOSE [27] About to connect to remote recording service
The above is from the GBPVRTray.exe.log file, and shows that BleepBloop and MyVideosTasks are being intialized. I would think that the GBPVRTray application wouldn't need to initialize any plugins. Probably will help cut down on some of the memory usage that the Tray application uses if it doesn't load the plugins.
I bought this last week and is very satisfied. Works very well with GBPVR. Can anyone suggest a remote control I can buy since PVR 150MCE doesnt come with one?
i'm running a widescreen TV on the TV-out of my PVR-350. But in widescreen mode some informations from the skin are cut away, especially the OSD informations are not visible. Is there a Skin optimized for 16:9 or maybe a workaround?
I know this has been mentioned before, but not for a while, so I thought I'd re-post this to see if anyone is still having this problem or knows how to cure it.
I connect to a UK Sky Digital box via Composite 2, and use a USB-UIRT channel changer. The problem is that intermittently the USB-UIRT ceases to respond.
I have tried to pin this down to a set of circumstances, but it seems to be almost completely random. It does seem MORE LIKELY to happen after watching pre-recorded shows and then going back to live TV, but this isn't always the case.
Prior to release 09.11 I could guarantee to correct the problem by re-starting the recording service (**** knows why); but since the 09.12 releases this hardly ever works, and I have to do a complete shutdown and re-boot to get the transmitter to respond again.
I've now missed several shows because the channel changer has stopped responding. I've even had to resort to setting my alarm clock for the middle of the night to remind me to re-boot the machine before an important program (just in case). Heaven forbid, I might have to resort to using the wifes VCR!!
Any comments (especially helpful ones) appreciated.
I'm new to GB-PVR (2 days), having used Digiguide and Visual Basic to control my Sky Box.
What I would like to know is, is it posible to get a Start signal, then the Sky channel numbers and an End signal from the com port when I want to record a programme using GB-PVR scheduler?
With Digiguide I could pass the Channel No. to a PIC that then fires ON CH.ID and OFF through an IR diode to the Sky Box. I see there are a couple of options recommended but just fancied the challange and to learn a bit more about GB-PVR.
I just wonder, if there is any device which could turn my pc on in the given times (not by turning on the 230V from the wall, but by giving the "Power Good" sign, or using the ATX switch somehow) Could be programmed externally with buttons or internally form software through USB or serial port...
Without such thing I can not really use any scheduled record feature, as I don't really like to let my PC turned on 24/7...
I am experiencing a problem with my whole PC freezing which requires me to reset the system to recover.
While watching a previously recorded program when another program is being recorded everything is Ok until the recording program ends. The screen freezes and the only thing I can do is restart the whole system. When the system reboots the program that was being recorded is in the recordings ready list and when I go to view it it's all there except the length of the recording shows as 12 seconds and the skip forward buttons etc don't work.
I have an EPIA M1000 running windows XP, 250 Mb Ram, Hauppauge 350 using the TV out.
does anyone know how to get around the problems, does anyone have a similar setup without these problems.
