I think CDK Scheduler is having a problem with single quotes in descriptions. This is really bad if you record any Stargate SG-1's as almost every episode description has the word "Goa'uld" in it... Here is the exception:

DIVX AVIs play correctly on my MVP, but DV AVIs (from a digital camcorder) play for a few seconds, then stop. The same DV AVIs play correctly using GBPVR on my computer.
This is not meant to be?

What would be nice is a helper plugin that all it does is listens and reacts to events. It would even toss it own events that other plugins could listen for and react too. Here is the general idea:
Basically this is how it works, and we'll use My Videos just as an example.
1. My Videos has a play list of Videos that it wants to play. Say a Intro, three trailers, and then the main video.
2. It adds these files each to the VideoQueue by executing an AddVideoToQueue event for each of these videos.
3. Once this is complete, it fires an event for RetrieveNextVideo and the VideoQueue plugin excutes a NextVideoInQueue event, which My Videos would listen for.
4. Once it has retrieved the next video in queue, it would take the filename and start the GBPVR playing the video.
5. The StoppingVideo event is fired when the playback is complete, and the entry is deleted from the queue.
6. My Videos detects that playback was stopped either by finishing the video or the user has stopped it themselves. If the video has finished, it requests the next video in the queue, and then plays the next video.
The above should work in theory, but I'm not overly familiar with eventing as I typically do most of my programming at the business layer and don't have to deal much with events. Can anybody that is more familiar with this poke holes in this and also provide possible band aids.
I admit it.....I've been using an older version of GBPVR and just downloaded the new one. I just posted that I was having a CODEC problem. Now it appears I was wrong. Instead, it isn't recording. Two things are happening:
1) When I try to watch live TV I get the message "No Source" or something like that. This is despite the fact that I am using the S-Video input and have it selected in the config program.
2) After it "records" I have a file of Zero(0) bytes that obviously won't play.....so it's not a Codec problem.
Everything was fine before the new version. I'm sure there is something silly I am doing wrong. Any ideas?
I just updated and for some reason Windows Media player doesn't play the files recorded with GBPVR. I am networked to another computer that I use to burn my DVD's, so I really need to see them on the computer.
I am using a Hauppauge PVR-150 and Diamond Stealth S60 which goes to my LCD monitor and my projector. I am having a difficult time getting 'full' (non-windowed) screen on my projector (s-video out from the S60). Anyone else able to get full screen on their secondary output?
I am having trouble recording/buffering tv with my PVR 500 card in Windows XP MCE. I have the latest Hauppauge drivers, and 0.9.11 of GBPVR. Everything else seems to be working fine. I am able to actually set something to be recorded, and the directory is created, but the recorded file never appears. Even the recording service turns green, and tells me it is recording. Any time I try to do time-shifting, I get the "Failure to play file" error. Anybody have any ideas. Log file attached.
Does anyone know if it matters if the MVP is set up in settings to 16:9 or 4:3?
I ask because I can't get the setting to stick to 4:3. Tech service says to roll back to later version of software.
I'm wondering is it worth the trouble to do this if it doesn't matter to GBPVR?
My Divx files don't fill the screen completely they are still in what looks like a 16:9 display. But I am unsure if that is due to MVP settings or something else?
I know FFDshow is running since the display is bigger but still not full screen.
