I Really WISH that you would design a different cast list for the actors, If you could just modifiy getting the casting for the actors would be great, I have Tons of movies where the main character or star does not have the movie list in the actor collection. for example: Keanu Reeves (not sure about the spelling here).. I only get the matrix for him when he is the star of all three. The other two do not even have him listed..I hav alot of other movies where the movies are not in the actors list. Also i have a few movies where the actor is listed but fails to show up in the actors list, i think simply because the actors name may be in lower or upper case..See what you can do????

When I was still fiddling with MediaPortal I was working on a PDA based context sensitive remote using OmniRemote (http://www.pacificneotek.com/) on an old Handspring Prism color PDA.

Now that I've given up on MP I'm thinking about doing this project for GBPVR instead. I've looked through the documentation including the Keyboard reference but I think I need more that that. Is there any documentation available on the actual keyboard codes that are used by GB for each menu item (Live TV, TV Guide, Weather, Recordings, etc)?

My idea is to program the PDA remote keys using various remote controls I have around the house and then use USBUIRT with Girder to receive the IR codes and deliver keyboard commands to GB.

Before anyone says anything I know I could just buy a MCE remote but this is for fun anyway :-)

I've been playing with the Media Experience skin (which I love; good job Reven, and I hope you don't mind), adjusting colours to make it easier to read on my mvp, etc, and I added the 'next recording' panel in the bottom left corner of the screen in a slightly smaller font.

Everything worked fine for a couple of weeks, until I added a sub-menu "My TV" (containing live tv, tv guide, recordings, etc), and now the 'next recording' panel no longer appears.

The 'clock' panel still appears, I've checked (and rechecked) that the special element in the main menu skin.xml is set to display, and I've even checked I have recordings scheduled in case it doesn't show if nothing is in the list. I can't figure it out...

Anyone got any tips or ideas?

I have a season record show that's recording the wrong channel. The show is on channel 39 however while recording the status says capture source 1 which channel 1.

What's going on? Is there a setting I need to set?

I'm having a skipping problem. I just recently bought a Hauppage WinTV 250 card, and it worked great with the wintv2000 program that comes bundled with the card. However, i wanted tivo-like functions, so I downloaded gb-pvr. The recording works great, but live TV "skips" (sound still works, but image freezes every few seconds). When I record a show however, the skips are not present, and the show plays fine. I have a very capable machine, so I dont think it is a lack of hardware. Is there anyway to fix this?

While I can shrink the live tv screen manually by using the minimize button, using the 'full' button on the remote or double clicking on the screen, no longer makes the screen go from windowed to full. I don't think I've done anything to make this change other than updating to the latest version.
Any ideas.

Hi, I'm running .9105, and my number buttons on my 34-button MVP remote arent working either through the MVP or the IR Reciever connected to my MVP-250. All other functions seem to work ok.

My irremote.ini looks normal, and is the default.

I have a FRESH version of XP SP2 Pro on a brand-new box. In fact, GB-PVR was the first App I installed (besides the Hauppauge drivers for the MPV and the PVR-250).

I had siimilar problems a few versions back (before the revision # change), but don't remember the specific version.

Any help is appreciated.

I just downloaded gbpvr ver.09108 and I cannot get the epg to download. I entered my username for zap2it and it connects to zap2it but it says something very quickly and then saves and exits. But it saves nothing!

I checked my account at zap2it and my information is correct and the account is still active. How can I get the epg to download?
By the way im un the USA. I do not use a softwrae firewall only NAT. Which is very loosly configured and I use the pvr 250 mce

I rip all my DVDs to HD, they go into a single folder with all the VOBs and the main IFOs.

Outside of GB_PVR I can play them by simply selecting VIDEO_TS.IFO and away it goes (in zoomplayer typically).

Is there a way of doing this in My Videos plugin? I've told it to look for ifo but there seems no way of telling it to play in the menus, you have to select the ifo, it tries to look it up in IMDB or whatever then fails.

I'm sure I'm being dumb....please help.

If I hit play on my remote or CTRL-P when on the main menu or watching live tv, a blank white box is displayed, then gb-pvr loses focus - its all rather messy,

Anyone know why this is? I haven't configured any batch files or anything.
