I noticed in the Plugin config that essentially all the menu level functions are configurable, at least to the degree that they can be enabled or disabled.
Right now F1 triggers the TV Guide but there is no comparable hotkey for the DVD or Weather or Theatre listings etc.
I'd like to see all of the menu-level functions allow at least the setting of the 'hotkey' for the function. Thus the user could reconfigure "L" for Live TV, "D" for DVD", "T" for Theatre, "W" for Weather, etc.
I downloaded and installed DVD2MPEG and the supporting tools and tried converting a DVD. The DVDDecrypter ran fine but about 10 seconds after BeSweet (1.5) started my system rebooted itself. I tried again and reproduced the results.
There are some real nice skins I'd like to use, but I can't seem to find any that support the latest version of GBPVR when using live tv. Mr. & Mrs. skinmaker, any ideans when?
I just got my PVR-150 and install GB-PVR. At first the remote worked fine. Then I updated the drivers for the PVR-150. Now the remote gives me buggy results.
When I start GBPVR I get the main menu screen. I can scroll up and down the options. So far so good. However, when I go to live tv and hit the channel up button, the channel information "screen" displays. It allows me to scroll through that but not physically change the channel.
maybe I am missing something that is completely obvious...I don't know.
Is it possible to set up a recording and change the minutes?
Right now I am only able to set it to record in 10 minute increments. I want to be able to start recording say at 3:35 and not simply just 3:30 or 3:40.
any help or explanations would be greatly appreciated.
The weather plugin's 'Current' and 'Forcast' buttons work for me, using GBPVR09107. But when I click on the 'Map' button, I get an error:
Error: C:\DOCUME~1\toenjes\LOCALS~1\temp\weather80920.jpg
There is no 'weather80920.jpg' anywhere on my computer.
My recordings and backed up DVDs keep getting deleted. I upgraded to the latest version this morning, and I've been browsing around starting/stopping various videos, etc over the MVP. For some reason it keeps deleting my videos - is anyone else running into this? I've lost 4 backed up DVDs and 1 Simpsons episode so far
The only other thing I can think of is that I downloaded the videos plugin this morning too, but once I noticed things getting deleted I disabled it...and things are still getting deleted.
gbpvr uses ffdshow settings when I view avis over the MVP (which works great!), but appears to ignore them when I try to view some backed up DVDs that are in mpeg format.
Is there any way to enable ffdshow resizing for viewing mpegs over the MVP? I used the DVD2Mpeg plugin to back up a few DVDs, but none of them show up correctly on my TV.
Is there a way to play itunes songs (Apple AAC format) through the GB-PVR & Media MVP on my TV set (through My Music or something similar)? I doubt it, because I think Apple may not allow its codecs to be used that freely, but I just wanted to check?
Most of the songs I have are in that format - legaly bought from their website - chickened out from WinMx when all the lawsuits started!!!
