************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just in time (JIT) debugging, the config file for this
application or machine (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the machine
rather than being handled by this dialog.

 geforce 6200 & 6600 component TV-out
Posted by: bucknljake - 2005-03-23, 03:56 PM - Forum: Hardware - Replies (8)

I see that the many of the 6200 and 6600 video cards now come with a component video out cable.

can anyone comment on the video quality?

is it comparable to the component video out on the XCard?

how much cpu horsepower is needed to watch recorded TV through it? (since there is no hardware decoding like that of the XCard)

does it support HD 16:9 resolutions for example running the desktop and gbpvr at 1024x720 ?

my current HTPC machine:
radeon 9000pro, (AGP)
933 mhz athlon,
512 ddr ram,
200gb harddrive,
xcard

thanks

 Rewind/Reverse in Playback causes 0.91 to lock up
Posted by: BenTO - 2005-03-23, 03:12 PM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - No Replies

I'm not sure if this is a bug or just my system, but when playing back a recording, if I hit the Rewind/Reverse button, the display freezes and I need to CTRL-ALT-DEL, Windows Task Manager, End Program to get back to Windows.

I had the Use Short Skip instead of FF/RW - unchecked.

When Short Skip instead of FF/RW is checked, it works fine.

Maybe someone else can check.

 New bug in 0.91
Posted by: wrecked - 2005-03-23, 01:29 PM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - Replies (12)

Hiya again

Just discovered a new bug in version 0.91

If Im recording a show and I go to recordings and choose to play it while its still recording, it plays the file just fine, BUT when I try to go back to the menu with "back" or "menu" GBPVR freezes, and I need to "End program" in task manager.

This bug was not in the previous version.

Can anyone confirm they has this problem too ?

 Live TV shows you whats currently being recorded
Posted by: starfire - 2005-03-23, 01:20 PM - Forum: Wishlist - Replies (5)

I have a single Nova-T tuner setup.

You have a programme currently being recorded.

Selecting "Live TV" gives you an error "No capture-source was available to enable you to watch the requested channel".

To watch what is currently being recorded requires - recordings -> pending -> select recording show -> play

Suggestion:-
Wouldn't it be much better under a 1 tuner card setup if Live TV showed you what is currently being recorded rather than gaving a non-too wife friendly error message?

I have a Tivo (hopefully to be replaced with gb-pvr) which is high on WAF and it behaves in this way and seems very logical and easy to use.

Having to explain that you need to navigate as above to watch what its currently recording is not easy [Image: tounge.gif]

 How to make recordings to only show in MyVideos?
Posted by: piotre - 2005-03-23, 11:16 AM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - Replies (9)

After recording a movie that I would like to keep I would prefer to have it only shown in MyVideos (with all the poster and desciption info) and not in xRecord any more. The Archive-function will move the video to my video root directory so it wont be seen by MyVideos. The Export function does not really do anything for me (don´t what it is supposed to do).
At the moment my workaround is archive it from xRecord and manually re-create the folder and move the mpeg to the folder (not really handy).

Am I only doing something wrong or does nobody else need this function?
I prefer not to have the shows/movies I want to keep shown in xRecord so it is easier to separate from the stuff I just watch once and delete.

Anybody got an idea?
