I'd like to have the ability to setup a video playlist. Since I record numerous sitcoms, it'd be nice to be able to watch them consecutively without user interaction between each.
Also I use GBPVR as a standalone, and it'd be nice to know how much HD free in one of the menus (not X-record's) but let's say anytime I'm setting up a show to record.
Got it all working and recording fine with my Nova-T :-)
Trying to use the MyVideos plugin. Installed the database, then installed the plugin and configured it. However, its not getting displayed on the GB-PVR screen when invoked.

i've tried reinstalling the DB but it still fails, myvideosplugin.dll reports version 3.1.0.0
Hi. I have been using XMLTV Radio Times for a while now and its sort of OK but I get a lot of "to be announced" and the channels BBC3 and 4 and ITV2 and 3 screw up my web viewer. Has anybody used digiguide? Is it any better then XMLTV Radio Times?
Well, I just got my comskip up and running... it works excellently, but not perfectly...
the only problem I'm having is in the beginning part. When you start recording a show, (in my case I'm usually starting my recording in the middle of commercials, then the program begins, then commercials.)
My thought is that if there was a way to tell comskip that it is starting in the middle of a commercial and to look for the start of the show.
the way it is now, seems to me that it needs to see the beginning of the commercial to tag the whole commercial segment.
Hi all, I have been searching the forums, but couldn't find a few answers that I hope someone kind enough here will answer.
Using a Hauppauge 350 (just about to buy), is it possible to use this application to record (schedule) a program while at the sametime watch another already recorded program via the tvout?
Second, when using the tvout of the card, can you view the menus on a tv, using the remote , ie control the application.
Basically I want to use the system like a pvr/mediacenter. I bought the pinnacle 300i, which seems good, except it uses software encoding and decoding and it starts to sputter at times. So thinking a HW encoder/decoder should be much much better. But before spending another 100+ anyone answer the questions please.
When using the Hauppauge MPV server the commands to control realtime functions must originate from a remote control. This is based on the assumption that the MVP OSD is the UI. Obviously, the host ui can be used simultainiously to schedule recordings and other non-realtime functions.
It seems it would be possible to instrument the host based ui such that it proxies certain realtime commands (play,stop,pause) to a running mpv server.
This would allow a networked laptop for example become a remote control for a mvp client without using the client osd.
