I remember there was a thread about writing DVDs automatically from gbpvr. But I cannot find it.
So I will write my questions/whishes here again:
1) I would like to edit the mpg files within gbpvr. Does someone plan to make a plugin for this?
2) I would lie to burn a DVD directly from gbpvr (perhaps with nero in the backend) is someone working on that?
I have seen those features (and more...) in a linux based PVR called "VDR". Does someone know this software? Lots of good ideas which could be transferred to windows...
I have set daily EPG update for 2:00 AM, option "wake machine" is checked.
I had a look into my machine's BIOS. There is an option "resume by alarm" but no time is set here. I would have expected something different.
I am using GBPVR and a 150mce card in my "PVR" computer. I mainly view it on a MediaMVP. I would also like to view the recorded shows on my laptop which does not have a capture card. Do I just do this over the network via Windows Media player or can I somehow use the GBPVR interface. I would prefer to use GBPVR and also be able to schedule shows from the laptop. Is this possible? You all seem to make almost anything work.....I guess this would be like a GBPVR client.
Does such a product exist? I would like to be able to access my GB-PVR box from my good computer and have the ability to watch live TV. Or is their any way of doing this. Perhaps something similar to Snapstreams Beyond TV Link
Just a question about the My Pictures plug-in which I was playing around with. All my pictures are compressed or resized into a square shape so that everyone looks skinnier. Not a bad thing, but they should be 4:3 more or less should they not?
Am I missing an option?
My pictures are all from my Canon S1 and 4:3 to begin with.
I just installed GBPVR for the first time tonight. I was messing with the config to get the screen alignment sorted and now I can no longer start the Config App--I get a exception for Config.exe. I tried reinstalling GBPVR (well repairing actually) and still no good... all I messed with are alignment settings! Honest!
Oh, and I can't get the Weather plug-in to work either... I copied the dll to \plugins and the weather folder that was located in the skins folder (in the downloaded zip file) into the \skins folder, plus the WeatherIcons folder into the \media folder, and selected it in the Config App... no good. Doesn't even show up in the menu when I run GBPVR...
Of course with this exception I'm getting I can't even run the Config App now!!
i am jsut setting up my htpc and playing around with gb-pvr. It looks good so far but I have a couple of questions:
1 - I installed Video Archive + DVD2MPEG and it seems to work but it just named my mpg file as DVD_VIDEO.mpg. Is there any way that it will save the actual movie name? Also, how can I get it to look up the DVD info to display a picture and/or information about the movie? Also, I get a crash when trying to run DVD Info Editor. I did run GetDVDInfo but didn't find anything. Do I need to create some kind of text file for it to find the proper info?
2 - DVD player i installed was PowerDVD and it seems fine but there seems to be no way to control the powerdvd options such as FF, Pause, RW etc. In fact, I couldnt get out of DVD once it started playing so I had to use ctrl-alt-delete. Is there a way to use powerdvd functions and exit if required...or is there software that works better that i should use?
As I said, I am new and I will most likely have other questions, but I appreciate your time.
