  EPG, Girder and learning
Posted by: joche - 2005-02-04, 12:26 AM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - Replies (1)

I downloaded the gbpvr.gml and have teached the events:
Down
Left
Right
Up

I then starting up the EPG and tries to navigate. It's not doing very well, right don't step to next show but to next page.

Which is the right way to navigate the EPG using windows messages?

If I select one show with my mouse (on-click) then I can start navigating the EPG. So basically I need something that sets the focus on a the first show or similar.

  My Music not showing
Posted by: pcostanza - 2005-02-04, 12:10 AM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - Replies (39)

I'm trying Reven's My Music (looks good) but even though it's checked in the plugins, it doesn't show up in the menu list on my screen. Is there a limit to the number of items which can be shown on the menu? I've checked and unchecked. The most recent version is today so I assume it's ok to use with the latest version.

  How to Uninstall?
Posted by: spyder40 - 2005-02-03, 11:59 PM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - Replies (1)

I'm having some funky issues and have been trying to get back to ground zero to do a fresh install.  It appears running Add/Remove programs in control panel, deleting the devnz directory, and rebooting doesn't get everything.  What else should I do/look for to get back to ground zero?  When Installing 0908 before the config comes up I get a debugging box with Detail, Continue, Quit as the buttons.  If I click continue the drop down boxes are empty.  The skins directory definately exists.  I tried applying the .net service pack as was suggested but didn't change the error.  The log file shows an error on ChannelFactory. These are the errors I'm getting upon invocation of the config:

See the end of this message for details on invoking just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

Startiing 0.9 config gives Exception (enclosed)
Posted by: joche - 2005-02-03, 10:05 PM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - Replies (7)

When I start the config of the latest download I get this error:

Also, there's no skins to select from when I start, and when updating the EPG no channels ever shows up.

I hear XML-XML-XML from back of my head, but what can I say?

This is a one for Reven if you're out there.

In the config for My Videos on the DVD Burning page there are settings for DVD Reader and DVD Writer.

They keep swapping around. What I mean is I can set one to F: and the other to E: When I OK and then go back in they have switched places.

Am I going mad or is it just the rest of the world......

  DVB with Nova-S with 0.90
Posted by: guido - 2005-02-03, 08:17 PM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - Replies (4)

Hello, I need help for 0.90 with Nova-S.

System: Win XP with SP2, Celeron 2,6, 512 MB, Hauppauge Nova-S

After having read the topic “DVB with 0.908, Anyone with any experience out there?” from Simon I installed MpgMux.ax with regsvr32.exe. Great ….. no more filter warning box.

When I hit the Map digital channels to EPG channels button I get a Microsoft Visual C++ Debug Library Message:

---- Begin --
Debug Assertion Failed!
Program: C:\programme\devnz\gbpvr\Config.exe
File: c:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio .NET 2003\Vc7\atlmfc\include\atlcomcli.h Line:150

Expression: p!=0

….. and so on

--- End –--

2nd Problem:

After I hit Live TV in GB-PVR I get the message “Channel Tuning information not known”.

Does anybody have experience with Nova-S and gbpvr?

Thanks a lot for your help

Guido

  TV signal quality degrades
Posted by: hasso - 2005-02-03, 08:09 PM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - No Replies

First I thought it maybe was the weather affecting the TV signal quality I was getting, but I now know better. Whenever the PVR350 is enabled (whether I am watching Live TV, recorded shows or just using GBPVR menus) the TV signal degrades quite a bit. Not only through the PVR350, but also if watching straight TV. As soon as I turn off the card, TV signal quality is restored. Weird. There must be some interference somewhere, but don't know where to start to try to isolate the problem. Anyone have any ideas?
