I lose video after 1 second
Posted by: Bajtra - 2005-01-29, 04:36 PM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - No Replies

I had GBPVR working fine for over a month now. I went on a business trip for a week and now it's not working. My wife was using it and she doesn't touch anything except for the tvguide but she said it stopped working on Thursday.

The video comes on for a split second then goes to black screen. I hit exit and a GB-PVR error pops up. The only button that works is Quit.

  my vids, pics, music updates
Posted by: reven - 2005-01-29, 04:19 PM - Forum: Community Announcements - Replies (5)

ive updated the "my" series so that when gbpvr is updated the settings are saved, but yo MUST run the config application select "my videos" goto settings, click ok, goto "my music" click settings, click ok, goto "my pictures" click settings, click ok. by entering settings for each plugin this ensures the config.xml file is updated for each plugin, and this is where the update occurs, also if you dont do this, the plugins wont work. my programs didnt need this update since its already designed this way.

download them at the wiki http://gbpvr.bladerhq.com/

  Speed and Response
Posted by: pbones - 2005-01-29, 04:18 PM - Forum: Wishlist - Replies (5)

I have a Pentium 4 dedicated box for PVR. The WAF (wife acceptance factor) is tough with the response time. I would like to speed up the functions so that when you navigate through the menus with the remote it responds faster; especially starting up and using the TV Guide.

your video is playing back using tv out
Posted by: jaknh - 2005-01-29, 04:22 AM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - Replies (2)

I am a new user, using pvr350.  When I click on tv, it says your video is playing back using tv out, press home to return to menu.

I just want to view the tv on my computer monitor, not using tv out.  How do I do this?
Thanks

  Weather Plugin
Posted by: kthai - 2005-01-29, 04:12 AM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - Replies (3)

Hi,

My Weather plugin button disappeared from the menu after I switch to the FBHVOrage (Flat Blue High Visibility - Orange) skin. I am using the Weather Plugin version 2.21.

I the weather plugin worked fine under the blue skin but does not seem to work with any other skins.

Any suggestions to isolate the problem would be greatly appreciated.

Sage; for examples has a recording feature to only record first run shows or no repeats. Is this possible with GBPVR?

  Default record setting
Posted by: pbones - 2005-01-29, 12:49 AM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - Replies (2)

I am using the Hauppauge 350; how do you configure GBPVR to default to High Quality in the record and Quick record inside the menu driven by the TV guide? I thought it would be the edit setting for the capture source, but apparently not. Right now it is set for medium.
