recently upgraded to 23.13 and am using it with mvp connected to TV. it seemed to work ok for a short while, but it seemed to reset itself quite often when navigating back to menu after playing a recording.
now however, the im getting no rtesponse from Haupp remote, even when trieing the reset button. the mvp light flashes in response, but nothing happens on-screen. I've checked batteries and tried running GBR from the PC...all fine.
is this version compatible with MVP as there is another post with similar problem
I am having an anomaly with live tv displayed on the pc monitor.
The tv does not center itself in the window, but typically moves off to the lower right... I can expand the window to see it all.
Is there a config parm I can fuss with to fix this?
I have v0.23.13 installed.
thanks
There hasn't been much written up on the support and/or tweaking of the xcard to work better, or utilize more of the xcard's capabilities in gbpvr. I was wondering if there are any other users out there that use the xcard in their gbpvr machine?
I've noticed there isn't alot of information posted in the wiki or here in the forums.
I've been thinking of making a skin that will work ok with the large amount of overscan I get with the xcard. (to aleviate the picture degration in the gui when I adjust the overscan properties in the config). Other than that, I haven't found any great ways to utilize the xcard. anyone else??
Hi i thought that i had located a WinTV250 locally but can only find the 150. Will the 150 work well? and will the remote with it control GBPVR well. Like will i need a keyboard or can i do it all with the remote. Also what are the advantages to spending about double the money for a PVR 250?
Sub or whomever knows,
Is it possible to change the number of days of data the EPG update (when using Zap2it) grabs when it runs? Because there are shows I'd like to set to record ahead of time (because I'm forgetful) but the EPG data doesn't extend that far ahead (say, 9+ days). Thanks for your help!
Hi there. I'm new to GB-PVR but so far I have found it to be absolutely fantastic. Only one problem I've found so far is skipping to the next track in Jukebox. Have checked the readme which says use the skip forward button/key but I can't find one which works. Any clues???
Can anyone advise on a method to add the MVP to a network via WiFi, i.e., 802.11g, without buying the rather expensive wireless ethernet bridge products? I've seen some postings that suggest others have done this successfully using the more common gear like wireless routers and access points. These never any seem to provide details on how to do it.
