GB-PVR seems to work very well except for one small problem. I am unable to see any video or hear any sound on almost all channels when I use Live TV. All i get for a picture is static. Channels 14 and 15 come in very well though. Anyone have any ideas? I've set my software decoder to the nonCSS one installed with the Hauppauge card.
I was able to use the ffw and rwd keys on v 0.22. Now that i have updated to v 0.2311 I am no longer able to w/o losing sound. If I use the skip I can get the sound back. If there is something I need to do in order to get the ffw / rwd working again I would greatly appreciate it.
Can Canyone tell me exactly how to set up sharp develop to make plugins. Â Tell if i got this right.
1. Â Open a new project. Â Give it the project name of the plugin.
2. Â Reference the gbpvr.public and backend dlls. Â Which are in the C:\Program Files\devnz\gbpvr folder on your computer.
3. Â Confirgure the project to build lib. and it to be placed in plugins in gbpvr.
4. Â This is the part thats hard for me. Â If you set up class wizard, you give it the classname, and then it moves to interfaces, which i think is where you use the imenu interface. Â Do you need any of the others with this.
I'm new so please forgive me if this has already been covered. I looked around and didn't it see it anywhere so here goes.
When I click on the Download link on the main page I'm taken to a page with giberish on it. I would dearly love to download this program so if anyone has any idea as to what's wrong please don't hesitate to let me know.
First off I would like to say that this is a great application. Hauppauge should promote GB-PVR instead of BTV, and definitly over their own software(WinTV2000).
Now for the Question.
I have noticed that the instance of GBPVR.exe that acts as the MVP server causes a CPU usage spike every 2 seconds while it is waiting for a connection(MVP off). Is this normal? Or can it be prevented?
I´ve read some threads now on ,freezing, sound and picture beeing off sync and channel changing taking long.
I didn´t know which thread to post this in so I created a new.
Ok my problem is:
Live TV freezing
Live TV sound and picture off sync when changing channel
Channel changing taking a long time (normally 7-9 seconds)
I sometimes get kicked back to main menu changing channel
All these problems are solved if I use playback on my PVR350 instead of my Xcard.
This release is primarily to address changes that were made to the zap2it data format a few days ago. Sorry for a slow turn around on this, but I've been busy and I also had to back a few changes out - I wasnt expecting to release anything for a few more weeks. I did leave a couple of other bug fixes I'd made in the release. The complete list is:
2004-12-10 v0.23.11 (maintenance release)
- Changed Zap2it EPG plugin to work with recent changes to the zap2it data
- Fixed a bug with "weekly" manual reoccuring recordings
- Fixed a bug that would stop comskip files being used on the PVR350.
sub can you add page up/down in the recordings menu. either green/bue or next/previous. id prefer green/blue but either will do. also can you make it so when you exit a group that group is the highlighted group. so its not always the very first group.
also could you make it so when you return to the main menu from plugins/features (non plugins things like recordings etc, not sure what you call em) that they are the selected menu item, also with submenus, that you're in the right submenu and the exited feature is the selected one.
