How do I switch to/from full screen using the Hauppauge PVR-150 remote?

Any help would be appreciated.

  Delete Recording
Posted by: surveyor - 2004-12-11, 09:31 PM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - No Replies

It seems, that if I select a program to record, put the PC in hibernate-mode, wake it up for deleting, delete the recording and put the PC again in hibernate-mode, the pc wakes up at the time, the deleted recording should start. Is it a bug?

  PVR350 + PVR150MCE
Posted by: jan - 2004-12-11, 09:06 PM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - Replies (4)

I have a PVR350 and want to buy a PVR150 or PVR150MCE. Can this work together or do I have to buy a PVR250 ?

If it works with PVR150. Do I then have to install drivers for PVR150 or is this the same as for PVR350 ?

  Volume Changes?
Posted by: dirtboy - 2004-12-11, 08:18 PM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - Replies (2)

Hey sub, have any changes taken place in how GBPVR sets its recording volume? My new recordings seem to have recorded at a much higher volume than they did previously. Thats a good thing, I was just wondering.

  VBR MPEG2
Posted by: dirtboy - 2004-12-11, 07:51 PM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - Replies (2)

I was running out of HD space on an 80GB movie drive. I record Good Eats and each 30 min show is about 950MB when using CBR MPEG2. I had 1 GB left then downloaded the new version and started using VBR MPEG2 and now each show only takes up 550MB. Each time I record a re-run, I get more space back.

  Simple question??
Posted by: jjakober - 2004-12-11, 07:09 PM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - Replies (3)

What shortcut keys are used to shutdown GBPVR??

Also, as soon as I get my PayPal account updated, a donation will be on the way.

This has to be the greatest FREE PVR program around!!

Good work SUB.

Hello,

I am pretty new to GBPVR 2.38 so I haven't figured out if these things a possible or not. I would like to see the ability to manually input channel and recording time instead of scrolling. I would also like to see support for the ATI all in wonder cards.

Thanks,
Rick

  Required TV-Card & MVP
Posted by: kendrak24 - 2004-12-11, 06:17 PM - Forum: MVP & NMT - Replies (1)

Hi!

Are there any TV-Card requirements to run GB-PVR through the MVP, or will any card that works with GB-PVR also work in combination with MVP?
I have a Leadtek WinFast PVR2000 card, and it works perfectly with GB-PVR on my PC. [Image: rock.gif]

  Client for other PCs
Posted by: Guest - 2004-12-11, 05:30 PM - Forum: Wishlist - Replies (4)

I'm on a bit of a roll so I'll get my second post on the go.

Is it possible to install some software on a second PC to essentially give the same functionality as the MVP. The second PC would be able to watch videos, play music etc. all from the "server" PC (the one with the big hard disk with all the info and the capture card). Live TV could then be played on any PC in the house from the "server" PC.

Can this be an alternative installation of GB-PVR for the future. A "client" version.

If I have missed this functionality somewhere then please be kind, i'm a newbie of about 2 weeks after buying a PVR-250, seeing the state of the bundled software and doing searches on Google.

  Option to "Channel Surf"
Posted by: Guest - 2004-12-11, 05:23 PM - Forum: Wishlist - Replies (1)

May I start by praising the software and the forum. I wouldn't have a system up and running without the quality of GBPVR and the assistance of the forum.

I read in a post that the idea of Live TV is not to channel surf but to record, pause, rewind etc.  That's good and I don't want to knock it BUT I was planning a setup that meant hiding a PC in a cupboard with my cable box and an IR blaster. This way I could use my MVP for everything (and maybe buy more MVPs for the rest of the house).  But alas I can't because changing channels is so slow. I understand why but can we have a key press to start/stop it recording and allow channel surfing.
