Hi,
I've got a little problem with the overlaying programinformation in the LiveTV. It shows allways the last information and not the information of the actual program.
I thought Reven, might have the most free time right now to implement an interface to something like this. Ideally it would be nice to have a general Metadata database that could be used to store information natively with gbpvr instead of having a seperate database or interfacing with another product.
How does GBPVR handle conflicts? Is there a priority setting that can be changed on a recording so that particular recordings always gets first shot at being recorded? The reason I'm asking is that I would like to add to the Manage Recordings section, and sub group for managing conflicts or at the very least setting up GBPVR season recordings so that a priority can be set. Thus if two season recordings (All Episodes, on this channel, or All Episodes, Any channel) happen to appear at the same time. The one with the higher priority takes presedence.
Due to some really strange problems I'll be re-formatting my HD and reinstalling in an attempt to get this great program working.
System is a 1.4gig athlon, 512meg ram, xfxforce mx4000 64meg video, 2x PVR350, SB LIive and 40 gig drive.
Which OS should I install, Win 98, 2000 or XP Pro?
Can anyone make a recomendation and if 2000 or XP, what patches and SPs to install or avoid?
Stability and performance are tha main concerns here.
I've just installed the latest version of GB-PVR (02311) and I'm using Hauppauge 150 and I can't get it working. Nothing happens when I click on live TV and I get an error message when I use tuning assistant.
Does anyone know if Hauppauge 150 is supposed to be supported by GB-PVR yet?
If it should work what might be the problem?
Has anyone else been having the problem of the sound stopping during a new program start time. I'll be watching livetv and if you hit the button to show the progress bar on the top, it will show how much time is left in the program, where you can rewind it to, and the length of the program. Whenever it gets to the end of a show, and the meter gets full, there is a slight stutter in the video, and then it picks up again with no sound.
I'm guessing GB-PVR is starting a new livetv file, and it's losing the sound somehow in the process. Is there anyway around this? The prior versions did not have this problem for me. I'm running a Hauppauge 350.
Can anybody help?
I use pvr350 with my tv as the monitor only. Sweden, antenna.
I can not see icons instead of text listing in the archived recordings ( I have set, "Use Icon View for media libraries ". Not even in the explorer listed as icons.
My pvr350 creates a black area below the live tv across the screen, have anyone else had this problem?
The channel switch takes time app. 3sek., can this be done faster?
Is there a good mpeg editor to edit recordings, freeware or commercial.
If you want to record a series of programs, is there a way to have a default thumbnail icon with a indexed number overlayed in the thumbnail ? This would be perfect for my children which can not read yet.
This is something I noticed in version 0.22 as well so I thought I had better mention it. When I schedule South Park for a season record at a specified time (Wednesdays at 10:00pm), it records every episode instead of just the ones in that time frame. Thanks for everything so far sub.
By the way, I'm on the west coast of the US (GMT-8) and I use version 0.23.11, listings from zap2it, pvr250
I know there're bits and pieces of answers to this scattered around the forums but I wanted to get a comprehensive answer. What's the best way to go about starting a new skin?
