I'm already the happy owner of a pvr350, and everything that should work, also works perfectly with gbpvr.
But now i would like to upgrade my system, so that i can play divx movies too, with a nice quality. And i heard that every tvout on a videocard is not very good (i tried it with a nvidia 4200 and nvidea 5600, and im not happy with the quality.) So the only thing i need is a good tvout. So which one is the best? The xcard or the mediamvp (it needs to be compatible too with gbpvr of course).

It should work with subtitles, otherwise it's not very usable. And dvd and divx.

Or are there better products on the market that are a better solution? (and not too expensive)

sub can you make it possible to move a main menu item up and down in the config app. like how m$ does all there toolbar options, have say two listboxes one with all the available buttons (including plugins and dvd button) and another one with the choosen main menu items. like have a button to add,remove, move up, move down etc. just my dvd button is under shut down and its kinda wierd. just be nice to be able to place them nicer.

if you dont know what i mean just right click in ie on the toolbar and goto customize.

In the TV Guide screen, I would love to be able to skip left/right by one page worth (2 hours I guess). Could you make the fast forward and rewind buttons do this. (or add a config option for how far the skip forward and back buttons skip so this can be set to 2 hours instead of 1 day).

It would be nice to allow adding recordings by using command-line options of gbpvr to support people which must use external EPG programs.
Maybe it could look like as follows:
gbpvr -OnlyAddRecording <filename> -Quality <quality> -Channel <channel> -Start <start_time> -Duration <duration>

Sub, any idea why I'm getting this. I tried adding it to the GAC and the Configured Assemblies, but still get the above. Only happens when I run through Cassini, but if I access the GBPVR I don't get that message.

I am in the process of writing a plugin for the tivo to pull the now showing list from the tivo. Things are a little slow, but hopefully i can get it. I am learning so be patient...

First let me say that I've been using GBPVR for quite a while now, and it's always worked very well for me.  I just set up a media center in my living room, and I use GBPVR to record it all.  I really appreciate having this program, and I like it much more than others that do the same thing.

That said, I have a problem I hope someone can explain.  I'm using version 0.22.7 and I'm trying to record the new episodes of South Park, which are every Wednesday night at 10 PM on Comedy Central.  I've gone to the first one I want to record, and choosen "Record Season (all episodes in this timeslot, this channel)"  But when I got into the Pending Recordings section, it's scheduled to record South Park at 10 on Wednesday like I wanted, but also at 11:30, then again at 9:30 PM the next day, and midnight the day after that.  

I expected that "Record Season (all episodes in this timeslot, this channel)" meant that it would only record South Park only on Wednesday nights at 10 PM on Comedy Central.  If it means something else, can someone explain it to me?

I do not wish to save all episodes to a dvd, etc
just want it to record all the unique shows so I can watch them. but if I delete a show after I watch it, will it re record it again if it comes on again?

Is there a way to not have it do this?

maybe have a db that "knows" what was recorded regardless of the physical mpeg being on the system

since you are in hard coding mode, I thought of way to get around a small anoyance in TV Guide. When there is no programme data available, nothing shows for some channels, therefore the user cannot select those channels to do anything.
Also if there is some data for the current channel the color changes to show where the "cursor" is. Since there is no data for some channles the cursos dissapears and it is confusing to tell where you are in the TV Guide.
A way around it could be to show the text: no programme data is available for this channel, or something similar. With this change the guide would look much nicer, it would allow a user to switch to those channels and would remove any possible confusions of where the cursor is.
