I'm sure that I just don't know what I'm doing. For years, I've used my own channel logos, so I know how to do that. I understand that Schedules Direct, which I now use, can supply logos. For the life of me, I cannot seem to figure out how to get that to work, and I have not found anything in the Wiki (I DID look!). Can someone illuminate me? Is this even possible?
I m using Kodi as the frontend for NPVR. I am having issues where the tuners are not being released when I stop playback of live TV. I have experienced the issue with bot HD-PVR2 and HDHomerun tuners. Typically I have to restart the recording service to correct but sometimes I can correct it by starting, stopping, or changing channels several times on live tv as is shown in the attached logs from both NPVR and Kodi. Below I started live TV the stopped but the tuner wasn't released. I then selected the same channel and started live TV again and upon stopping the tuner still wasn't released. On the the third try I switched to a different channel and when I stopped the tuner was released. I kind of pieced the 3 logs together below to give a timeline. These instances were within a few minutes so I could capture a short log but I have seen the tuner stay locked for hours after live TV was stopped.
With Beyond TV I can press the Pause button to return to the current time on the EPG page after scrolling to a later time on the schedule. For now I Exit and return to the guide...
Hi,
recently my recordings have started failing more and more frequently and the program becomes unresponsive to my remote, the reason for that is that is that behind the NPVR "window" a pop up has apeared taking focus. The pop up is Interactive Services Detection saying C:\Program Files\NPVR\NDigitalHost.exe is not fully compatible with windows.
I am suspicious of that statement as the forum would be full of messages about that, and I can't find any. Message pop up and logs attached.
Almost had a heart attack when I copied my recorded files to network folder, then I changed the recording folder to that new location.
After that I deleted the old local recording folder.
Database thought I had deleted all my recorded files.
Thankfully I noticed NextPVR takes a backup of database, which can be imported, so I opened up the backup, renamed all paths to point to the new location and imported the backup.
All good and got the recorded shows back.
What's funny though is that all the recorded shows were still visible in NextPVR GUI, but not in Kodi.
The TV Guide is not marking the shows in the grid that are pending recordings. The Guide shows the red bar at the top to indicate when shows will be recording. The shows are in the Pending list and they record as expected. All that is missing is the red background for each show in the TV Guide.
For completeness, TV Listings has the same symptoms.
NPVR.log.1 in the attached is the Guide being displayed but I can't see any error.
I'm running Nextpvr on a dedicated server. For some reason it's stopped working altogether. Tried rebooting the NPVR server, Shield TV client and router. All connections are hardwired via gigabit ethernet. I've attached the log files. Any idea what's going on here?
