hi heaven't have a chance to use your pvr software but from all the reviews you have a great program.i'm building a pvr system using your pvr software but like to use it with a ati e-home wonder it has mpeg2 encoder onboard and is use by sage tv if you could support this great card it would be awesome.from reviews i seen the quality is as good as a pvr-250 at half price.hope to hear from you soon.also if you could make some video clips of gb-pvr in action i could make them in flash for you to set up in your site.i have samples here http://www.geocities.com/rebelde_media/video.html click on any of the samples and you see the streaming in your browsing, thanks and keep the great work.also if you could email me at rebeldeh2k@yahoo.com i would love to talk to you about a project.

  Audio Sync Problems
Posted by: darrenkarp - 2004-09-20, 03:21 PM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - Replies (3)

Hi,

Often when you press FF on playback of an MPEG movie the audio goes way out of sync. Is there anything that can be done about this?

Regards
Darren

  Title Bar
Posted by: Nightmare03 - 2004-09-20, 02:26 PM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - Replies (6)

Hey,

I use my pc for personal use and as a PVR by using dual screen ( Monitor & Tv ).

GB-PVR is the best software ive seen, #### it beats windows mce!

Now when i use this app, i open it and drag it over to the tv display and then maximize it, but the title bar is still there and i was wondering if its possible to do this without the title bar being there?

Also, is it possible for the app to save its location so when i open it again it will go onto the other screen ?

Thanks,
Aaron

  recording
Posted by: wa3drc - 2004-09-20, 02:24 PM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - Replies (2)

well, i got a hauppauge usb2 and got it all working this weekend.

i scheduled a recording for 8 pm and then turned off the mediaMVP.

when i got home later at night ( after the recording should have ended ) there was no recording.

i left the server pc on, but turned off the mediaMVP box.

is the recording controlled by the mediaMVP box, or is this scheduled up on the server PC ?

tnx,
ed

  Truncated recordings
Posted by: joel - 2004-09-20, 11:08 AM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - No Replies

Hi,

I have experienced an unexpected behaviour in my recordings.
I have scheduled a manual recording from 20h00 to 23h00 and the recorded file was only 1h28 long. The recording service was active during those 3 hours.
Is there a parameter for the max size of a recorded mpeg2 file ?
(I have a pvr-350 and an mvp. I installed the latest gbpvr release 0.21.4 and my hard disk is not full [Image: smile.gif] )

Thanks,
Joel

  Problems changing channels
Posted by: Victorious - 2004-09-20, 10:30 AM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - No Replies

I have just installed the latest gbpvr and the latest drivers for my Hauppauge PVR-250 card. I am using Windows XP. Channels work okei, and I have set up xmltv to get channel-info.

Most things seem to work okei, but everything freezes when I try to change the channel. Any Ideas?

And - is there any chance to get get a "search forums" here. This may have been a problem to others in the past, but a manual search through the forum is much to timeconsuming.

  Minimum hardware requirement
Posted by: Jean-Christophe - 2004-09-20, 10:06 AM - Forum: Hardware - Replies (2)

Hello,

I can not find any minimum hardware requirement.
Up to know, I would like to use PIII 500 with 512 MB Ram, Riva TNT2 32MB and Hauppauge PVR350.

When I try to watch LiveTV, it "lags".

More CPU needed?

Thanks,

JC

  PVR350 - TV Out
Posted by: Jean-Christophe - 2004-09-20, 08:36 AM - Forum: Hardware - Replies (2)

Hello,

Is there a tips to disable TV-Out on PVR350?
I would like to use a "standard" VGA monitor, but Live TV, for instance, is displayed on TV-Out [Image: rock.gif]

Any idea?

THanks
