It could be very nice to decode MPEG2 using dxr3 card. The goal is to uncompress signal using hardware decoder and display it on desktop.
My problem is PVR350 use only hardware decode to TV-Out.
I'm having a bit of a problem. Â I installed the first version of 0.21 a couple of weeks ago before I got the rest of my gear. Â As soon as I had everything set up, I scheduled all my season long recordings. Â Problem is nothing recorded. Â If I looked at the Pending recordings, the failed recordings wqere still under the pending section. Â If I restarted the recording service, the failed recordings would then be in the ready section marked as failed. Â I thought I had things solved when I uninstalled the first version of 21 and installed the newer version. Â I rescheduled all my recordings and they started working. Â 2 nights ago I was watching live TV. Â I went to the guide a set a recording for the next show that was scheduled to come on. Â I was wondering what was going to happen when the recording started and I was watching Live tv. Â This was on the MVP. Â I got suspicious when Live tv was not interrupted. Â the next day I checked and the recording had did not happen. Â It was still in the pending section with a status of scheduled. Â Since then I've missed about 4 recordings. Â All still in Pending with a scheduled status. Â Just now, I tried to do a quick record and it did the same. Â Restarted the recording service, now the recordings appear in the ready section but failed. Â Quick record worked, I'm not sure what will happen with the scheduled recordings. Â I checked the MDAC version just in case and it was reported to be 2.8. Â I checked the newest gbrecordingservice.exe.log. Â The only erros I could find were
Found expired lease. Stopping recording.
something about reference to an object that doesn't exist
not sure about the exact error the file got rewritten before I could get the exact error.
Not sure if this applies, but often if I switch to LIVE TV from the guide, it seems to use one of the buffer files in the LIVE directory. Â I then use the mini guide to go to the channel above. Â Then back to the channel I wanted and it works. Â It it will keep cycling to this buffer file when I select a new channel. Â Plays the same thing again then stops at the end of the buffer file. Â As if the buffer file is read only and GBPVR cannot start writing the new live stream to it.
tried to describe this as best as I can, if I missed anything let me know.
Is there a way to disable the re-adding of the default net radio stations? I only want about 4-5 stations listed in the window, but whenever I launch the application on my PC, it re-adds all the default stations.
Thought i´d start a new thread to let interested people know what is going on with my upcoming Album Player plugin.
I started out with the Jukebox plugin as a starting project, but this turned out to be a bit over the edge for me. I ended up with lots of weird rendering problems, which for instance made the plugin totally useless in MediaMVP... This led me to start all over with a blank project to get cleaner code and to get full control of what is happening everywhere in the plugin.
After two nights of coding (and "stealing" usefull stuff from the two Open Source Jukebox and Comics plugins), I have finally gotten the plugin to do the basic thing I want - to search and play songs in albums and list information I need. Some of the remaining parts for the first version of the plugin is:
- Queueing. Need to be able to queue both full albums and certain songs with a single click from remote.
- When handling the queue list, we need to switch screens (a bit like the jukebox plugin does) when something happens in the list.
- Able to use the language.xml
- Add at least some skin properties. Users should be able to set colors and fonts etc.
I am not going to list all features here and now, but you will know by the time its done I may also post some screen shots when the queueing is done.
It would be great if the Girder tuner changer had an option for a delay between sends in ms.
Eg my Tira-2 often misses digits to my Sky decoder, and from looking at the logs etc it would appear that if I increase the repeat length of sending that channel digits such as 11 run together producing a single 1.
I have looked at Girder options to do this, but the simplest thing would be a delay period in GBPVR between sends.
The theatre plugin basically only works for US zip codes, since the by SrChuck (and kudo's for Jorm's original work, of course!modified executable draws it's information from http://www.fandango.com and fandango only work with US cities and zipcodes.
Since we in the Netherlands have someting similar (http://www.belbios.nl) it must be possible to rewrite SrChucks executable for the Dutch situation, and maybe with city names instead of zipcodes, or maybe not, what do I know about programming .
So anybody out there feels he/she could do this?
I mean it would really be fun to have Dutch theatre listings in GB-PVR.
(I have Dutch (Amsterdam) weather already...)
