I just installed GBPVR version 013 for the first time today. I get the following when starting the configuration utility:

Sub,
I've been so interested in testing the MVP client that I just realized that I haven't tried to run the PC client from a second PC. Is this supported? Do you have to do anything special to start it?
Firstly, thanks for providing such a great piece of software. I'm currently building a media PC, I found you site at the weekend, installed the software and it pretty much does everthing I wanted. The ability to use the TV out on the PVR 350 for the menus is particularly good.
So, a couple of small requests.
The font size (particularly in the TV guide) is difficult to read on the TV [as nobody else has mentioned this, I guess I must have bag eyes or a bad TV ! :) ]. Any chance of adding an option of a larger font size, maybe just a small/large in the configuration tool. I've tried playing around with the font smoothing settings in the display settings but they dont improve things much on the TV.
I read with interest, a post on the board (I can't find it again though) where somebody was saying that they used a 3 tier directory structrue for their media files, top level was artist, 2nd level was album and botom level was tracks and they would like to see a list view for the artists, an Icon view for the albums and then a list view for the tracks. This is exactly the scheme I use. I thought that a solution to this might be to get the software to remember the view you last used for each folder, any chance of this?
I believe that there is volume control on the playback of MP3s but is there a volume control on the live TV or video playback? The keys on the remote for the volume are the same as the left/right navigation and they skip through the icons rather than change volume. Am I missing something? also, it would be good to have an animated volume bar on the OSD (like on many TVs) when changing volume so you get some feedback that it is working.
Enabling / disabling of the profile "Edit" buttons does not work properly. Sometimes I switch to "Custom" (in the Standard profile) and the buttons stays disabled. Playing around with the comboboxes sometimes the Edit botton stays active for a pre-configured profile... Version is 0.13
I've found a problem with the Media MVP and a new entrie for your long long ToDo-List:-) :
When I play an MPEG, the video-size is to wide. At the right at the left side are ca. 20 Pixel not visible.
I've tested some things:
1. Start Windows, run MediaMVP-Server
- SIZE OK
2. Stop MVP-Server, Start GBPVR-Server
- SIZE is to wide
3. Stop GBPVR-Server, Start MVP-Server
- SIZE is to wide
It seems, when I start the GBPVR-Server, the MVP-Firmware don't work correctly.
To fix the problem, I have to start the MVP-Server from hauppauge and reset the MVP by disconnecting the power cable.

Sub,
Is it possible to make the configuration screen either scalable or put scroll bars onto it so I can use it on my TV. I have increased my windows default screen size which means that at my current settings I cannot see all of the buttons required to setup this application without changing screen sizes back and forward.
I was wondering how to create icons for my movies.
I have my videos folder set with the 'videos' template & have it in thumbnail view
I have chosen 'refresh thumbnail' - but I still get just the windows video logo.
I would be also good to have a frame other than that of the first field of video as it's thumbnail, if there is a way to do that..
BTW - the net radio implimentation is excellent - anyway of manually adding entries, or creating favorites ?
On the EPG side - when you select a program to record, the EPG will then default back to time of day - this is frustrating when programing days ahead as you have to scroll through the time from today to when you want your next program to be added.
Hi Sub,
My previous serious crashes were a faulting PVR350 card.
I now have a new card with 1.6A drivers installed ( the 1.6A drivers are modded drivers specifically for australia according to the distributor here )
The EPG is working fine with TV harvest ( no 1 hour offset anymore )
I am also getting video playout with OSD on the TV with some issues.
I installed 0.13 yesterday & main OSD comes up fine ( with the appropriate message on the PC's screen )
live TV is working using your recording code ( not wincap TV )
changing channels is working for a while, then is crashing ( bringup the SetGlobalApha-IKsPropertySet-SetIVAC-OSD-GlobalALPHA-failed message repeadely until the application is quit from process manager )
interestingly, you can reboot GBPVR a number of times before this crash hangs the driver to the point that you have to restart the machine.
This crash also occurs every time you resume a previously watched movie from the library
If I had two PVR-250 tuners in GB-PVR, one setup for internal tuner and standard cable TV channels and the other setup for external composite input and satelite receiver channels. I have not tried this yet.
Will GB-PVR be able to handle this situation?
Do all the channels show up in the TV Guide?
If you select a satelite channel from the TV Guide does it know to go to the tuner that is connected to the satelite receiver?
If you add a third tuner, setup for internal tuner and standard cable, will those two tuners be in a pool and the one for the satelite receiver remain separate?
Everything is working great on the new release except for the skip button. The skip button starts to work for a few times and then it stops working. Do you have any ideas?
