New here and to NextPVR. Working great using my HDHomerun Prime and IPTV setup on my NextPVR server. Guide populates and can watch live TV.
When i try using NextPVR within Kodi, i can't get anything. No guide or LiveTV. I've tried multiple Kodi android machines with a build and even a fresh kodi install with just live tv/nextpvr setup. Same problem.
If i use another computer on my network, i can hit the NextPVR server via webpage and see guide etc.
I feel like i'm missing something to get the Kodi portion working. I triple checked the setting in NextPVR within Kodi. Correct IP address and port.
I've attached my log file after an EPG update. Can anyone see anything i may be missing? I even tried a newer .DLL file i found where it allows me to use an HTTP link for XML.
If I swipe forwards (L->R) the stream goes backwards; is this the intended direction of play?
Swipe backwards (R->L) skips forwards; but this seems non-intuitive direction wise?
Also, oddly, I scrubbed forwards, then swiped forwards and it went back way more than a minute, actually to the start again?
2. Less of an issue as it may be old Tech, but there is no Swipe Response at all (either direction) on an old iPad2? The ReadMe says NPVR 3.7.7 up and I saw - fixes for minor compatibility issues with iOS 10, so I am assuming the older iOS is not the issue but rather the device?
Good Day...Is there a way to put the channel groups in alpha order? I have used DBBrowser for SQLite and RazorSQL with no luck. I can edit the groups as to how I want them (alpha order) but the database always comes back to the original state. At this point, my only option is to reset the groups in alpha order and populate them one channel at a time which seems kinda ridiculous and troublesome. there should be a way to just click and drag ther group to where i need it to be. Thanks...cheers!!
I am using NextPVR via Emby as the front-end. When I view items in the EPG, or live TV, or stuff I have recorded, for most shows, an image has been downloaded to represent the show. I am wondering whether its Emby thats getting this data or NextPVR? In Emby, where an image to represent the show has not been downloaded, it gets replaced with an tiny 'image not found' icon. I am wondering if there is a way to simply replace this with say the channel logo, or even a transparent png so that nothing shows in Emby? Additionally, is there a way after EPG dowload to preemptively pull ALL show icons/banners for everything in the EPG? EG to prevent the pregnant pause while an icon/banner gets downloaded after first viewing the show detail from the EPG?
Also, SchedulesDirect has been recommended to me for UK EPG data - does anyone know whether this supplies NextPVR's EPG feature with just textural data, or whether it also includes rich EPG info - eg thumbs/images for the shows?

I've been trying to get XNEWA working on my new Sony TV with Android OS [Sony Bravia KD-49X9000F (90F/900F)] In doing so I have been relearning what I did for the RPi2 install, using your video, past notes etc.
I am now stuck at this message: Could not open NextPVR on 127.0.0.1 [from Kodi on Sony TV with Android OS]
I disabled my firewall and tried - no go. See attached when running.
I can access http://127.0.0.1:8866 (it goes to Guide.aspx) from the Server PC; but not from a notebook on the same Network, which says "connection refused"?

I am not able to get you Kodi logs (at least I don't think so?) as I cannot SSH or WinSCP into the TVs OS.
Is there anything else you need me to do to help you here? DO I need to add the MAC address of the TV under clients e.g. so it goes into config.xml?
LATER: At some later stage, because I wish to autostart NextPVR and adjust the Guide.xml, I will also need to work out how to WinSCP into the TV Android system. I read this is possible with adb, and I tied that on port 5555 but got "Connection Refused". I have already enabled the developer option by pressing the lowest button in the 'About' "Build" menu 4 times and got the message it was enabled. There’s a New Android OS out for it shortly too Sony Bravia KD-49X9000F (90F/900F). Is this the correct way to access the advancedsettings.xml and guide.xml files I need to modify?
Running tuner card on PC and nextPVR works fine on PC. I have a Firestick attached to TV with Kodi 17.6 downloaded and working fine. When I select nextPVR in the TV button on Kodi comes up with 1) Hostname 2) Port:8866 3) PinCode 0000. It never connects (RUN) indicator never works nor does a check mark appear next to "nextPVR". The settings on the PC version client are also set to 8866 and 0000 with checkmark in "Enable Web Server" and "Allow Remote Access". I also have added the ip address of the PC which in this case was 192.168.1.162.
I am new to NPVR, but not to HTPC's in general, I came here after 15+ years on a variety of WMC/DVBLink combo's
I only started with NPVR this weekend gone and initially it worked perfectly, however from today, I am experiencing 100% guaranteed freeze's when playing live TV. The period after hitting play to the video/audio freezing is variable, but its always < 2 mins and always > 5 seconds!
There have been ZERO configuration changes to my PC. No new software. no changes to NPVR settings and no windows updates. I am at an utter loss in explaining why it has gone from 100% reliable to 100% unreliable with zero changes!
I have tried restarting the PC (many times), tried shifting the liveTV buffer onto a different disk.
- Version is 4.2.3 (181112)
- Issue occurs with MPEG2 streams and H264 streams
- Issue occurs with both LAV and Microsoft DTV-DVD decoders (I rebooted after changing each of these)
- The issue occurs both for live TV and for recordings. Playing back old recordings works just fine still.
- Issue occurs on every single channel
- Time-to screen freeze is variable 5 seconds through to 2 mins
- The hang happens in the native client running on same PC as server, in the web client running locally and elsewhere and also in the android clients and the Emby client.
I am at an utter loss as to why and how this could have occurred. Next step will be a reinstall.

When cycling through the RECORDINGS pages, when I get to RECURRING from either Conflicts page or Pending page I get an exception error before it loads the page. (Attached image)
If this is a corrupted database any help on how I restore or refresh it. I don't mind losing any programs which were in the RECURRING list.

I cannot get my WinTV-NOVA-TD-Stick http://www.hauppauge.co.uk/site/support/...ml?prod=29 to show in the settings of NPVR. I have tried both available version's of driver, both of which installed fine and the device was shown in device manager.
The device works on a windows 7 machine and has done for a long time. I don't remember doing anything special to install it and from what I understand from reading the wiki it should be basically plug and play.
