My HD Homerun Prime is doing annoying things with NextPVR. While I can view certain fox sports channels in both Google Live Android tv app and also HDHomeRun app, I cannot even view the channels in Next PVR. Yes I want to record the games as my kids canât stay up late enough to watch. Do you have an idea of potential options?
Over the last day sor so I've encountered extreme stutter when watching IPTV streams. By extreme I mean completetly unwatchadble. Same channels play crystal celar when using VLC and Plex plugin clients. The only change has been to from Vrigin Media ISP to BT/Vodaphone. Network speed is excellent.
Any advice on where I should start to search for clues?
NextPVR 4.2.3 (181112) just installed with no improvement.

I need to know what android box everyone uses with NextPVR. I recently purchased quite a few of the following boxes and am having problems with them. I think they just are not powerful enough. When I stream NextPVR to them sometimes the video and audio sync up. Other times the video is just not up to speed with the audio being first to the dance so to speak. I have other android boxes that do not give me this problem. I am going back and forth with the MFG to rectify the problem.
I'm trying to copy the video and audio streams as it comes from the iptv service. Some channels are mpeg2, some are mpeg4 h264, some channels has several audio streams, spanish and english tracks in mp2.
I know there's a config.xml file we can customize. Where and what should I change in the config file to copy the streams as there are without any transcoding whatsoever?
Has anybody try to do this? (I assume the ffmpeg code command)
Otherwise it records a very compressed h264 with just the first audio track again converted to aac low quality.
I know I could use ffmpeg command line in windows to record the stream manually, but I like the nextpvr interface, channel guide and the padding time to add to my recordings. Thanks
About 4 days ago my npvr suddenly stops recording after 3 - minutes. After searching log files i decided to completely uninstall NextPVR. I also cleaned the registry NPVR section.
After a new installation i can see that the problem is still there.
Tuners: HDHomeRun Expand.
Windows 7 Enterprise 64 bit
Harddisk with recordings: Seagate Backup Plus Drive 1.8 Tb
NextPVR suddenly stopped recording programs. If I try Live TV I get the message "Unable to find capture device". I can scan for channels and find new ones. I can update the EPG. I can't restart or stop the recording service, an error box appears. If I use the TV dongles original PVR, it will work. For new recording an empty folder is created, nothing in it, not even a zero byte sized file. I tried uninstalling the program and reinstalling it (it did not seem to uninstall as all settings were there again on reinstall).
Any hints or tips?

I am having trouble with Android TV boxes. TV will not load, kodi shows nextpvr is no longer available. I have tried the stable releases and beta releases of MrMC and Kodi on a nvidia shield and Mi Box, I also tried updating NPVR. Works fine on my appleTV and Raspberry Pi
My WinTV will let me play the FM stations but Kodi only shows a Tuner not found. The tuner is a Hauppauge HVR-2255 which shows up correctly in the device manager. NPVR shows the same device as a WinTV-7164 which I am assuming to be the driver call-out. NPVR lets me set the FM stations so I assume this is correct. I have enclosed the zip file to help. Usually I can fix these myself but this time I am stumped.[B][/B]
I keep getting an error when trying to start service. See below. I have tried reinstalling to no avail. Was working before and just started doing this. Have also attached logs when I last tried.
