I've pretty much moved away from my Windows PC Kodi setup to a NVidia Shield and my Interlacing issues are no longer an issue, but I now have an issue where when I select a Channel to watch from the EPG,
usually it hangs on a static screen and I have to Channel Up/Channel Down or stop and select the channel again to get the channel to work. Its not a hard freeze, but obviously gets caught in a loop.

i just got my new colossus 2 card, have the epg all setup. but nexpvr won't change the channels. i select HD-PVR IR Blaster but nothing happens it's like when i click ok it doesn't save the selection. is there anything i can do to get this working?

I have a library of films some of which have subtitles muxed into the file.
Great, but NPVR always plays the subtitles by default, when I click the Right click menu and select subtitles the subtitle streams are listed at the top of the drop down and 'No subtitles' is at the bottom.
This means that with an English spoken film I'm always having to turn them off manually.
Is there anyway to change the default so that 'No Subtitles' are shown unless selected?

G'day...I have noticed that TV listings add-on is not showing the channel logos whereas the default guide is. Also, on the TV Listings is there a way to change the background color in the area where the channels are listed? I have tried most of the skins and they all appear to over bear the channel logos because some of the logos are dark in nature. As a side note, on my other computer the default guide and TV Listings are showing channel logos. However, the channel logos are still too dark for the background. Any suggestions? TIA Cheers!

G'day...Well after a few days of failed attempts trying to get NPVR (client) to communicate with the NPVR (server), I finally threw in the towel and opted for something more in my wheelhouse. I thought I had it worked out once and prematurely celebrated only to discover the next day that the connection was lost again. All this was done using a workgroup environment with 2 W10-x64 boxes. So, I decided to go the domain route because that environment would possibly give me more control over what I was trying to accomplish, that being establishing a communication between the 2 boxes.

So, let me first describe the new environment:

Client – W10 Pro 1803 64bit OS, NPVR 4.2.2.180623
Server – W Server 2016 64bit OS, NPVR 4.2.2.180623

The 1803 was a massive headache as it kept throwing me into lala land so many times as I tried to get the right setup but no joy. I tried all of the fixes I could find but none worked for me. So here is what worked for me in the new environment as the table below indicates. Hope this helps somebody else out even if it’s not Domain based. After setup I ran DCDiag test and everything passed.

Just started using NPVR with a Capture card and have noticed that the {channel} blasts the <Number> field and not the <channel> field. Is this how it is meant to work - or a bug?
I have altered the <Number> so they list in a particular order through Plex. The following channel blasts correctly, but passes through channel 100, and not 504.

If I move an IPTV channel either by changing the base number of the sub number the following problem occurs.
The guide data is present and correct until I move the channel.


NPVR -> Settings -> channels -> select channel

On a channel before it is moved the EPG SOURCE is as follows:

You should have noticed that after the channel is renumbered the "&amp;" seperators have been doubled.

I tried to edit the xmltv file line to remove the extra text but the program wont allow it and returns the line to the original incorrect line.
I tried to use the browse function to point it to a data set that had the correct line in it, but I could not get that to work either.

Your assistance in correcting this programming problem would be greatly appreciated. A temporary work around or patch would provide happiness.

I get my guide info correctly on the iptv channels UNLESS I move one of them. In that case I lose the correct,
xmltv file address and therefore lose the guide data.

Unmoved channel for epg source

If you notice because the channel was moved (either by changing the base number or the sub number) you generate double (2) &amp; between each control pharse.
I tried to edit the "xmltv file" name line back to what I know is the correct statement for that line but the program will not take it and just changes it back to the incorrect
statement of the ip location it started with. I tried to use the browse function to have it look in a data set to find the correct statement but I could not get that to
work either.

I'm just starting out with NextPVR;

I setup a Nextpvr server on a dedicated Windows 7 box (core 2 duo, 4GB, 120GB SSD (45GB free)
Android 7.1.2 on an 8-core android box running Nextpvr 1.4.180821 (37)
All Ethernet connected
Direct Play enabled

(Freezing)
When watching Live TV on any channel, the feed stops after a number of minutes. Often the screen freezes but audio can be heard jumping back a minute or so. This will not recover.
Any thoughts on what is happening?

(Config EPG)
Any settings I change on the server end appear not to affect the Android client such as Icon+Name, Icon+Number, etc.
Also the Android guide only goes 8 hours ahead whereas the web client goes ahead for days.
How is the Android client configured if it not being pulled from the server?

Hi have some TV program who don't past to red in TV guide for record and does not record. I chose the program in TV guide (whit the web interface or on the PC who have NextPvr installer ) I chose record series(new only), or record series. In the web interface I have error on the button of the page, on PC I have no error and the program was in the list of recurring recording but the program does not record. I attach the error in the web interface and the log file.
