I have a TBS 6902 tuner card installed in a new Win10 machine. The card previously worked fine in a Win 8.1 machine with Windows Media Centre. It also works well in the new machine with Media Portal, however Media Portal and I have our differences so I'm trying alternatives.
NextPVR detects the tuner immediately on the devices tab, however it doesn't find the channels on our satellite. I have tried the default settings and also tried various manual scans with no joy at all. Is someone able to guide me in the right direction please?

My first thought is that this satellite uses the Ku-Circular band rather than the Ku-Universal band and NextPVR is not recognising this. I had a Hauppauge card once with WinTV which didn't allow for Ku-Circular and I eventually gave that up as a lost cause.
I have been experimenting with NPVRâs web browser and am very impressed by the functionality â Schedule recordings, watch recordingsâ¦AND Live TV - Awesome!
Just curious if there is the ability to also have the web browser display/play my movie library as well? They are located on my NAS, which I can view via my UPnP server, and also Emby (which I just recently started playing with). However, Emby seems to lack any real security, and just about anyone with any knowledge can access my Emby server and do whatever he pleases.
Considering the NPVR web browser does basically the same thing, it would be nice to consolidate and just view everything through it instead. If this is not currently possible, can it be implemented?â¦Or is it not technically feasible?
Thank you NextPVR for letting me record all of the World Cup games. During playback of some of the games that donât interest me as much, Iâd love to be able to watch it in double speed. And then when I see something interesting I can slow it back down to normal speed.
My HTPC has been running most reliably for several months. However, sometime in the last few weeks NextPVR has become erratic and I've had numerous problems.
In TV Guide, clicking on a show to watch gives me "Unable to communicate with recording service" or sometimes no error and it just goes back to the TV Guide.
Clicking on the tray Icon status shows no devices at all. (should be three)
Restarting recording service clears errors but when I try to watch a channel I get a new error: Unable to find available capture device (HDHR Stream not available) I also noticed that sometimes the NPVR tray Icon is "red" denoting a recording in progress. But there are NO devices showing in the Status. Usually that results in a recording error and loss of that recorded show.
I also loose most of my recordings. Typically if I have have 5 shows set to be recorded, I'll be lucky to end up with one good recording. I'm guessing it could be a recording service problem? It's intermittent but often.
Most of the time I have to resort to shutting down NextPvr and rebooting the computer. Then everything is back to normal .. but only for a while. Sometimes if I just let it sit for a while it will start working again. Weird.
In all instances using the HDHR View application tunes and plays all channels. This system has been ultra reliable up to now.
System is running Windows 7 Pro 32-bit. Recording device is a three tuner SiliconDust HDPVR Prime (cable card) Logs logs are attached.
I recently scanned for new channels on both of my Prime devices. I do this about every month or so because I usually find one or two new channels. This last time, I have channels that are showing up in the channel lineup on the prime and I can watch them using the HDHomeRun app. However, NextPVR is not picking up a block of channels when I scan the devices. It doesn't scan and load channels 1161-1243. I am losing about 30 channels.
I recently added a number of channels to NextPVR and created channel logos. All the channel logos appear in NPVR client TV Guide, but a number of the logos are missing on the Internet TV Guide page. A few of the new logos show up but others do not.
Problem is as described in the Title. I had it working before and reninstalled the NextPvr to add all the VOD channels and know I cannot get any Logos for the channels in Kodi. I have deleted kodi 17.6 twice and reinstalled and still won't work. any useful ideas? ( My log contains sensitive Login Info so I will need to edit it if its required to be uploaded.)
Hello, I'm new to the forum and to NPVR so forgive the ignorance.
I'm attempting to use NPVR with an IPTV list. I have a m3u8 link along with an epg/xml link.
I have imported the channel list and the epg data shows up, but when I click on live tv I get the attached error message. I have also attached my log files.
I first noticed that some channels were not working no live no recordings so i decided too delete one of the troublesome channels and was going to rescan and add the channel again to see if this solved the problem
the channel I deleted was BBC 4 HD
has anyone got any ideas too why some channels are not working and why i cant re add this channel
Im running the latest version of NextPVR on windows 10 with a haunpeggue quad HD Tuner
