Is this safe to put all my info in the forum - I left the specific tuners out of this post?
How will I be notified? You do not have my email address!
The only thing that I know for sure s that the Vista pc needed Media Center to handle everything with the tuner, and worked fine!
It is an AverMedia tuner card using the ATSC port with an antenna that all my TVs see all the channels that I need. Under devices it sees AverMedia DBA Tuner/Demod (ASTC, QAM and IPTV). I scan under the ATSC, but see no channels. I also scanned the other 2 installed tuners, adjusting all codecs parameters (LAV and Microsoft DTV-DVD video and audio decoders - the latter automatically selected for H.264 video and MPEG-1 audio.
The tuner card was in a Vista PC originally, and is now in a Windows 8.1 pc that automatically installed the latest driver. LAV filters were installed with MediaPortal 2 which also did not scan any channels; I attempted all settings that I could adjust with MediaPortal 2. WinTV 7 is also installed on this pc via a Hauppauge tuner that I am not using on this pc now. Please assist me with scanning the channels that all my TVs are receiving. All TVs were off during the Next PVR scan.
I know that my Vista pc is a Vista Media Center pc. My Windows 8 pc does not have Media Center installed. If you want, I can attach a zipped NextPVR scan file (zip with what program?) and the tuner card advertisement (.html file). Please let me know what you need!
Quote:Unable to find available capture device/HDHR Stream Not Available
Same has just happened to me updating, using HomeRun Dual US. Was working before the update, and the Silicon Dust software sees the devices, and can play live video from my source (Digital antenna OTA). Seem to have lost some config. Devices do not show in the NVPR Device Status window either. Set to NextPVR in the HDHomeRun Setup - may have been a different setting previously? Running Windows 8.1 64-bit.
Hi, I just updated my NextPVR to version 4.2.1. Now I get an error - Unable to find available capture device, HDHR stream not available. It was working fine just before I upgraded. I have rebooted the PC many times, and reset the Cable Box.
I have applied latest version (many thanks for that) which allows us to specify EPG language Preference.
I have performed the following steps to setup:
1. Stopped NPVR Service
2. Installed new update
3. Started Service
4. Set the EPG Language Preference in EPG advanced Settings
5. Emptied the EPG 6. Rescanned the EPG
6. Downloaded latest Kodi 18 nightly
7. Opened Kodi
8. Cleared Database
9. Once PVR information got reimported, I checked the EPG...Still getting error shown in picture uploaded...
Did I do anything wrong?
Can you have a look at the uploaded logs and let me know how to fix that if possible?

been trying to figure this out for a while now. Everything works fine as long as I'm on the same network. But when trying to play live tv from external network then video freezes and I can see that the NPVR server just stops streaming. I have attached the web log which shows when it happens.
Hello all.
Just had this happen again. Using Kodi the picture pixelated then the picture froze. I am including the logs. Can someone inform me on how to view the windows logs as I am using windows 10 for my server. The server has not crashed. I am still use NextPVR on the server.
Any idea why all of a sudden NextPVR fails to record? This happened to me a few weeks ago. All of a sudden the folder (NextPVR Plugin) on EMBY would show no videos. The recording setting on PVR would say it's recording but then no video in folder. I uninstalled, re-installed. It works again. No problem this whole past week and a half. Then last night, folder shows no videos in Emby, the recording doesn't record. No errors, nothing. I'm testing again this morning recording Wicked Tuna, no recorded video in folder. Any ideas? Happened to anyone else? If NextPVR fails to record, I have no use for it. FYI, I use Vaders for the IPTV.
I just installed NextPVR on Windows 10, I got through the device selection and channel scan, but when selecting some menus in the left-hand pane of the Settings window, NextPVR windows show "Not Responding" and never come out of that mode. CPU level is normal, so the program is not doing anything. Task manager doesn't terminate the program either (how annoying). I have to sign out of my Windows account and log back in. The two menu options that I've encountered this bug with are Decoders and DVD.
