Now I am getting kicked out of kodi as soon as I boot up Nextpvr. I get the NEXTPVR client-tuner no longeravailable.
Nextpvr server still running fine.

Hi,

I recently replaced a client PC, which connects to my main NPVR machine.

I'm certain that on the old client PC, the recording screen would show a green indicator next to part watched recordings (as I see on the server.)
I don't see this on the new client PC. The resume option does appear when I click on the recording, and I can resume at the right point.

Should I be seeing the green indicator next to part watched recordings when I'm on the client PC?

Both machines are running 4.1.1.

After reading older posts on this forum, I modified my config.xml to try to enable Quicksync:

Doing some tests, I noticed high CPU usage. After looking at the logs, I notice my h264_qsv setting is ignored:

Am I doing this correctly? Is the HW Acceleration for Transcoding setting somewhere else? My server has a Skylake Celeron G3900 that supports Quicksync. The OS is WHS 2011.

Hello everyone.
Here I go again. I hope someone can help me. The video is jittery and the audio arrives first. It seems to be with Kodi. When This happens I quickly start recording in NextPVR. When I play back the video it plays correctly with no issues with audio.
I also have found out that if when the video is jittery and the audio is not in sync if I pause it for about a min or so when then press play it seems to play correctly with no audio issues.
I sure hope someone can help me with this. I am loosing my mind over this. I have spent countless hours testing NextPVR and do not want to abandon the project.
I have included the logs from Nextpvr as well as Kodi.

These scanners will allow Plex to correctly scan and index NextPVR recordings allowing playback of recorded shows via a Plex client. Originally written to allow viewing of recorded shows on a ROKU device via the Plex channel.

These were put together as whilst the built in Plex scanners will detect files with the correct SxxExx naming format, it will miss those where NextPVR falls back to the legacy naming convention when series and episode information is not available from the EPG source (e.g. for UK soap operas).

The scanners will correctly process files in the following formats:

TV Shows
Full details: show.name.S00E00.episode.title.ts
Partial details: show.name.S00E00.ts (S00E00 will be used as episode title in this case)
Legacy Format: show name_YYYYMMDD_HHMMHHMM.ts (Uses Year as season, MMDD as episode and recorded date as episode title)

Movies
New format: Move.Name.(Year)

Not sure if these will be of use to anyone else but thought it would be worthwhile to make them available!

I have an IPTV service that allows me to export the channels to an m3u. I have modified the m3u to use the service's channel numbering. I can import the m3u using Kodi Simple IPTV addon and get the desired channel numbers. NextPVR has no problem importing the m3u but it ignores the channel number field. Instead of the desired channel number, I get a sequential channel list (1-30). I was curious if there is a correct m3u syntax to import the desired channel numbers?

Here is a line from my m3u. In this case I'm trying to get the channel number to be 140 instead of 1 (since it's the first channel in my file). Kodi appears to use the 'tvg-chno' field to assign the channel number.

Some of my channels come up with 'Missing Audio? You dont have a Mpeg-1 decoder selected'

I have got LAV selected as my MPEG-1 Decoder.

I have tried multiple codec packs and options and also many splitter tweaks and cannot seem to get it to work.

Any advice please?

I sometimes record a show and watch it right after it finishes airing while also recording another show at the same time. Example i record a show starting at 8PM when it finishes recording at 9PM i watch it right away while at the same time another show that airs at 9PM is getting recorded.

The issue i run into the video and audio get all messed up, i believe my hard drive can't keep up playing and recording at the same time. So I'm wondering if there is a way to set up a cache drive to record the show and then one it's done move the file to my main drive?

I don't think it's network related, everything is wired and only happens with back to back recordings. Don't have this problem with single recording. I've tried different players and the video messes up at the exact same spot so it's not the player.

I hope I phrased the title OK. Not exactly sure what to ask for...

I've developed a search process using Powershell and would like to schedule recordings for programs that I select from a grid list.

Can someone suggest how best to do this? I've seen hints of browser URLs like "http:\\localhost:8866\service..." Is this what I'm looking for?
