PogoP21 and PogoMobile are audio players on my network that are served by Logitech Media Server running on another Pogoplug. I don't have a need for NPVR to interface with these devices (that I know of) and the log is full of these messages. I have not noticed this on my main box running 3.9.2. Is there a way to stop this?
NBC switched which Boston network broadcasts its programming from WHDH (7.1) to WBTS (8.1 and 60.5) and WYCN (15.1), none of which were included in my original channel scan. So, Using WinTV v8 I re-scanned my Hauppauge WinTV-dualHD ATSC Tuner and it found these new channels; in this software the device is labelled "WinTV-dual HD". I tried to update / import these channels into NPVR but have been unsuccessful; in setup / devices / device setup: the "scan" button just repeated the prior list of channels but did not include 8.1, 15.1 or 60.5. "Import channels" goes to a default filename of "channels-ATSC" and offers 3 irrelevant folders; there is no file in the WinTV folder named "channels-ATSC" to select. In setup / channels" I tried "update EPG" but it only returns the previously existing channels and does not find 8.1, 15.1 or 60.5. I was unable to find a solution in the "read me first" link in the forum, so I am writing for your help. What am I missing???
thanks,

After upgrading the Kodi app on my Amazon Fire TV (gen 2) to version 17.6, the NextPVR PVR Client add-on no longer works. Every time I start up Kodi, I get the following message:
Add-on couldn't be loaded. An unknown error has occurred.
I have attached the logs from both Kodi and NextPVR to this thread. I started up Kodi shortly after 1:20pm CST, so around 13:20 should be where the error is in the logs. Hopefully the logs can help figure you figure out what exactly is going wrong with Kodi.
However, just to be thorough, I remember reading in another thread a while ago about how you could run NRecord.exe in the command line with an argument that allowed it to output debugging information to the command line, but I can't remember what that argument is or what thread I read it in.
So, what are the possible command line arguments for NRecord.exe?
They aren't in the pinned read-me-first thread, but they probably should be. I want to know so that I can check the command line and see if any additional data about my problem could be found there.
EDIT: Oops, I forgot there was a dedicated sub-forum for problems with Kodi. Hopefully a mod can move this thread over there if necessary.
I've attached my long. My issue is that I go into Bulk Mapping, and after I have setup all the mappings, and hit OK, if I go back into Bulk Mapping, all the channels are back at their previous settings. I'm using Schedule Direct, and HDHomeRun Prime. The automapping isn't quite getting all of the channels right, seems to be matching by name, not the channel number, which is accurate to the lineup.
The strange thing, is if I go into details, the channel seems to be mapped properly, so I don't know which is correct. I think all this is also throwing the EPG off in Kodi, as channels are mismapped as well.
Recently, there has been several channels changes in both OTA and via my cable provider. I went ahead and added new channel icons (corresponding to new channels) to nextpvr. The icons of the new channels appeared as expected in nextpvr.
However, when I went to update my Kodi clients using my established method of deleting all the icons out of the /user/...../userdata/addon_data/pvr.nextpvr folder and restarting Kodi - only the original channel icons from the older channels were loaded - the newly added channels icons were not added to the Kodi client.
Did something change with Kodi? Am I remembering something incorrectly? Where am I going wrong?
For me, the thread created by harry in Bulgaria has a #2 and #3 post but does not have a #1 post ... Plus the "New Posts" list shows ... Last Post: Today 09:13 AM by harry ... and this "Last Post" is not being displayed.
This is all very trivial and only gets a mention because it might be a symptom of a bigger problem.
At home, I have my TV trough a satellite dish (really not sure what is the technical name). I have a AverMedia tuner card installed in my computer. I currently have the television working via S-Video input from the PVR, but it has several downsides that make it almost a pain to use. First, the computer can't switch channels by itself, so we have to use the TV remote to switch, and the latency is horrible (good 5 sec between when I press a button and appearing on screen). I would love to directly plug the cable to the computer, bypassing the PVR. The first part is easy, the cable is currently plugged to the card, but I can't get it to work. Could someone help me getting it setup, telling me which type of signal that I should use (Analog, ATSC, QAM...), or tell me if it is possible at all to do what I want? Oh, if it changes something, I live in Canada.
I have a question about the bulk map feature. I am sure I am just overlooking something, but, I wanted to run this by the community to see what it is I am doing wrong
I have 3 devices in NPVR. I have an HD Homerun Prime, A Happauge 1212 PVR and an Happauge Dual USB Tuner
I use Schedules Direct for my listings. I have 3 lineups. I use Local Over the air broadcast, Direct TV, and Comcast
The other night, I needed to add my HD Homerun device (Just got one recently). When I added it, there were 336 new stations that I had to point to Schedules Direct/Comcast. So, I had 2 choices, map each and every one , one by one, or do a Bulk map. I chose the Bulk map.
Here is the issue I hit though. When using bulk map, I was able to point the HD Homerun to Schedules Direct, but, there was no option (that i was able to see) to tell Schedules Direct to use the comcast lineup (and ignore the Direct TV and local over the air lineups).
What happened was Schedules direct (I think) used the direct TV lineup and all of my comcast channels were mapped wrong. i wound up deleting all channels, deleting the Schedules Direct lineups (all but the comcast one) and added the HD homerun prime only.
So I am in the process of re-adding my other 2 devices. Is there a way to tell Bulk map to look at a particular lineup?
Any amount of help anyone can give me will be greatly appreciated
Currently I have 610 recurring recordings and I want to rearrange them so that they're grouped by channel so that finally NextPVR will record back-to-back shows on the same tuner.
However, given the shear number, it just isn't practical to use the Ctrl + Left-Arrow / Ctrl + Right-Arrow method in the UI.
Is there an alternate way in the UI or a way I can do it in a text file in order to group them by channel?
I want to stop NextPVR from losing the post-padding so often, which more often than not loses part of the end of the show, or at least part of the end credits.
I'm hoping I could simply do it with the daily exported recurring recording XML file and simply re-import the recordings in the correct order, because then I can just write external software to read, rearrange, and rewrite the file. However, I need to know in advance if that will work.
If writing external software will work, then where can I find the schema for the exported recurring recording XML file? I want to make sure that the software doesn't miss any data fields.
