i have multidec set up with a single instance per tuner, now it seems like if 2 clients try and watch the same channel that needs decoding one tuner device it used for both clients and im sure in the past it would use allow one client per tuner on the channels that needed to be decoded.
Failed recordings last night and returned error 406 failed to connect to my provider. I checked the file for detail on the channels and the correct user and pw has been entered. I have attached the log file as well. Manual recording is not an issue as that portion works fine. This recording error was on a scheduled recording of a couple of programs. I am wondering that if my PC goes to sleep would that prevent recordings? If so then I may have to buy a device to watch local channels and record them. Thanks for your help. Cheers
Hello and Happy New Year. I just encountered a new problem when trying to watch live TV on Kodi using NPVR. I get an error message that pops up saying NextPvr Tuner not available. Kodi log viewer pops up and show me what is on the first photo. When using NPVR only, I get a similar error shown in the second photo but it says unable to find capture device which I presume is the same meaning since I cannot watch live TV through NPVR. This is a new installation of both Kodi 17 and NextPvr on the same windows 10 box. I have also attached the logs from NPVR and Kodi as well. I have this setup running on my other devices such as computers (Win), laptops (Win) and Pads (Andy) with no issues at all. One last thing, it was working well yesterday and today it started acting up. There are no other add-ons installed with Kodi. I have looked here and other forums for a solution and I did try some of them but no joy so hopefully you can help. Cheers and thank you. Erika
Got NPVR installed and streaming live TV via NEWA is working fine. What I cannot get to work is accessing the media folders through NEWA. I have set up media folders and can access them locally no problem, but how do I make them show up in the web view? Based on the documentation it should work, but maybe I misunderstood something?
Logs attached.
I have a problem with accessing shows on a NAS through the web client: I am storing older content on a NAS share. I have mapped two virtual folder(s) TV/Movies to the respective shares using either the device name or IP adress: Neither works. I have also faked it as a local folder into c:\something using symlinks. Access works through the native NPVR client software, but not through the web client on the same machine or any other. The result is always the same: "directory unavailable"

I am positive that the setup has previously worked (windows 10, now on some creators update....1709/16299.125), but I am unaware of what has caused the current problem.
I have just started using Nextvpr I am seeing two problems. First off I am getting pixelation or slight glitches in my recordings they normally last about two seconds. Also when watching live TV every now an than the sound will drop out on a commercial. You can see the person moving there lips but no sound than it just comes back in at the end of the commercial. SO has anyone here seen this before?
My setup
Nvidia Shield 2017
Kodi Krypton 17.6
HDHomeRun Quatro
NextPVR is installed on a vm
Hardwired network
ffdshow codecs
Recently I've had the occasional recording that will play in NPVR for about 2mins and then playback will freeze and nothing will happen. I can't skip forward past it, all I can do is exit out and restart, but once it freezes it won't play past the same point again. I've tested the same recording outside of NPVR with Windows 10 media player and it plays fine. Attached are logs. This happened tonight with playback of E Entertainment Special.
Have also been getting quite a few unhandled exception errors recently. See attached for a cut and paste of the error report.
Any one else having issues doing live TV in Chrome 63.0.3239.108? It plays fine in IE and Firefox, but in Chrome i just get a black/grey screen. No audio either. Chrome must have changed something as it worked a week or so ago.
Hi,
I am new to NextPVR. I am having trouble with a Hauppauge WinTV 850 USB tuner. I installed the latest drivers from Hauppauge, and the latest version of NextPVR. I get a error message when I try to scan for channels - 'Device failed to start'. I have installed an reinstalled several times. If I start WinTV (7.0) first, close it, and then open NextPVR it usually works. If I restart my computer and open NextPVR first, I get the error message.
I attached my log files. I would appreciate any advice you can share.
