Recently, I changed out my old Hauppauge WinTV-HVR-1800, which I had been using in a Vista 32bit HTPC system for a number of years successfully, for a new WinTV-quadHD. I got everything set up, used WinTV v8 to get the latest drivers and, having a little trouble, got it to work so that I could watch TV. Unfortunately, shortly thereafter, NextPVR TV Guide decided not to update. I use the DVB/ATSC EPG which has worked fine for me, other than never auto updating. Presently I have it set for 4 AM and since the day I set it, it has never worked.
I have attached some logs which I hope will be helpful. I hope someone can help me as I really want to be able to watch one program and record another or maybe both
Just upgraded to 4.0.5 and now my channel changing isn't working with IR Server Suite. It's been solid for years. Have tested it with the IRSS software and it's blasting correctly.
Any ideas? Logs attached. I've just tried changing to channels 53 and 52 respectively, both channels which should call the IRSS channel change.
Trying out an IPTV service. Got the video to work fine with 4.0.4 but the XMLTV info didn't work. So I updated to 4.0.5 and now the info works fine, but when trying to play a channel the video shows for about 1 second and then NextPVR crashes.
Just curious, since my HDTV tuners aren't used during IPTV recordings. How many simultaneous recordings can I have with the IPTV service? I assume there has to be some kind of limit. I've had two going at once.
This is the third time i've tried to record 'con man', little 15 minute shows of the guys from Serenity movie spoof.
it always starts recording, i see prime's tuner working, and when i go to play file, it appears nowhere like it never recorded!?

I've been having an issue with most of the channels in the guide no longer populating data. There are some that have data but it follows no rhyme or reason as far as channel groups go. It seems to have started since i changed my epgCollector xml guide data back to EIT as Freeview Australia has stopped supplying MHEG5 guide data as of the 27/11, but i'm not convinced this issue is related. Using epgCollector as guide data source has always worked pretty well. I have checked the TV Guide.xml file created and it has data for all the channels and looks readable and some of these channels are being poplulated in NextPVR.
I should mention i was on 4.04 and i tried upgrading to 4.05 with no change, i have deleted all the channels for all tuners and re-scanned, deleted the EPG and rebuilt, still no change am also windows 10, but don't think its relevant.

I have attached logs and the TVGuide xml (zipped) created by epgCollector. Looking at the logs in NextPVR it appears it can read all the data but has an issue saving the database??
On 4.0.5, upon a channel change (hdpvr2) nPVR seems to erroneously try to render audio as AAC even though its AC3. I get the "you dont have an AAC decoder" message and no audio.
Logs attached. sub, I can get you access to the box if that would help. I think AC3 support is quite brittle and has been for a while now. If I force the hdpvr2 to re-encode as stereo in AAC then everything works great, but losing surround sound is a deal breaker.
Everything was previously working fine. I was trying out some different decoders to get Dolby Digital to work. I got Dolby Digital working, but now my mouse no longer controls things like the pause/play functions during live tv or playing recorded tv programs. Right clicking brings up the normal context menu and those items work from there, including pause/play/stop.
If I move the mouse cursor over an on-screen button like the playback controls stop/play-pause, etc. the item turns from white to gray, so it knows where the mouse is, but the corresponding action does not happen when I mouse click. I tried uninstalling/reinstalling nextpvr (but left the old configuration files), but the problem persists. Anybody know what is causing this and how to fix it?

Is NEWA only for Kodi or is it for desktop usage independent of Kodi? I understand that X-NEWA is for Kodi integration but was interested if this (NEWA) is for desktop usage.
When I start NextPVR it stays minimized it the task tray. It didn't do this until I updated it this morning. I can focus on the icon in the tray and do a Alt+Space which brings up a menu so I can maximize it but there is no option to have it windowed. If I right click in NextPVR and say show windowed it goes back to being minimized in the tray. This is the only program that does this.
