I am using a network Cablecard Tuner which has three (3) Tuners (Silicondust Prime). I was able to configure the device and load the channels to all of the tuners from Scheduledirect. My issue is in channels, I have to point each of the channels to Schedulesdirect. This can be a long process if you have over three hundred (300>) stations to configure. I thought there was away to do a bulk load, but I am not able to get it to work. Does that mean I have to schedule each channel individually ?
I am able to access the NEWA portal and confiure content w/o issues. Issue is in the playback, there is no way to advance the video. If I download the source from one (1) of my servers and run it via vlc, all is ppossible. Is there away to do this via the portal ?
Thanks,
Hello , I am trying to login from the internet " outside of local Network " to web server but I cant login , I can reach the web page of the server but in login page when i am using the username and the password that I set the error return " Invalid User Name or Password "
Did any one has the same problem?
Unfortunately after few hours search i did not find anything relative with this problem.
Ok so now that I am up and running again (thx sub)...
I do have a few questions. I have never really had NextPVR setup in the bedroom on a NUC for 3 months but wife refused to use it. I have to have EVERYTHING setup PERFECTLY then document a quick chart for her. anyway... few comments from here and I agree...
1. Channel names - I know I can edit them as I did this for 1
......... Q. Is there a config file or way to import/export? if I edit all 300 channels I would like to back this up and/or move to other machines
2. Change font size - 32" 720p tv across the room and wife made comment she couldn't read the guide.
......... Q. Is there a way to change the font?
3. Using an XP Media Center Remote (works pretty well)
......... Q. Is there a way I can setup somehow to shutdown the actual machine? if I set the sleep on tv... HDHomerun channel is still tied up as NextPVR is still playing live tv.
should do for now.. thx in advance! gonna get my 2nd NUC setup for a tv in the kitchen!!!!
Win 10 x64, latest version of NPVR, HDHomerun prime and SAF decoders. I've lost the ability to view live tv somewhere along the way, I'm not sure when as I seldom use NPVR for live tv only for recordings which still play fine. I get a black screen and no audio when trying to view HD channels and a picture with no sound for SD with an error message which I can't close and have to exit the program. Logs attached after attempting to watch live tv.
Hey all,
I desperately need the software FullResume.exe from Nomad101 because of course when my PC resumes from standby via a scheduled task, the monitor (in this case HDTV) is off.
I checked absolutely everywhere for the last 4 hours to no avail.
It's not anywhere on this forum (Invalid Attachment specified.), it's not even as a stray soft on google, it's not on the old gbpvr site of course (now completely empty) and not on the Nextpvr wiki either.
Would someone be super kind and upload it somewhere or attach it here?
I have an intel nuc setup as my bedroom cable box... well drive died so need to rebuild it..
so while I wait for the shippers (and amazon people to box it as its taking 2 days... glad prime is 2d shipping!!!!)
I have a nice setup, well I enjoy it. I need to update this pic as Master Bedroom is the NUC now not roku but none the less..

anyway i was reading the Wiki that you can set NextPVR in a client/server mode. Do you think this is beneficial in my instance as the HDHomerun Prime box is on the network.
Maybe I am wrong but the client/server option is best for say a physical computer with tuners that is running NextPVR, then able to have extenders use it???
Thanks..
Jeff
oh and i updated my wifi router.. Netgear NightHawk x4s... WOW.. JUST UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!
I am moving to a new much more powerful computer. I have 650 recordings. I had them spread over 2 drives. I copied them all to a single drive and changed the drive letter and folder name for where they are stored so that it will agree to the new box. NextPVR does not see these recordings unless I import them individually. This would be a major pain. Is there a script to run where it will import the recordings? I do not want to change anything else in the setup such as channel mapping and so forth. The new environment will have the clients running Kodi and the NextPVR add in referencing the IP of the new server. Thanks for your help.
