In my client/server setup I noticed that the LiveTV directory on server is deleted if I record directly from Live TV (CTRL-K) from a client and then delete the recording.
Solved by adding an empty.txt file in the directory.
I am trying to use NextPVR. I have installed in on a machine that was recently upgraded to Windows 10, to replace Media Centre.
The machine is running the latest patches and the latest HDhomerun software. I tried removing HDhomerun, and the error is the same.
When I go to the Devices page in the Settings, it immediately comes up with an error dialogue:
Unhandled exception has occurred in a component in your application.
A procedure imported by 'Unmanaged.dll' could not be loaded.
Then there is this text that I have copied and pasted:
See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.
When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.
Perhaps a dumb question, but ... I have port forwarded to NEWA, so I can access it when I'm remote - and it sort of works, but in a lot of cases it's very slow / non-responsive. Is this expected?
Thanks!
PS: it does seem that a password is needed when not on the same subnet - is that as configured? I like it very much! Just trying to understand if this is they way it's set up.
Just wondered if anyone else has the jump (ctrl arrow) in a playback get stuck? The sound will play, but the video locks. Doing it again and everything works again. Or sometimes the command to jump back will get the video working again.
This is the first time I have got a error trying to record a show. First it did not get marked from recurring then I tried a quick record an got the popup error.
Thanks G

I have a feeling that Sub may be the only person who can answer this
I have run "Empty EPG" and "Update EPG" from Settings/Channels, at the conclusion of the update "PostUpdateEpg.bat"
kicks in and runs my RexX program that Cleans EPG_EVENT.title (gets rid of unwanted trailing info and places it in Description).
It then finds Season and or Episode info within EPG_event.description and inserts it into the Season and Episode columns.
At the same time it grabs the Cleaned Title, Formatted Season and Episode and Channel.name and places them into the EPG_EVENT.subtitle column.
When the recording schedule kicks in the file name generated should have Title.season&episode.Subtitle.ts and xml, it usually fails and generates Trawlermen_20150906_16301700.ts and Trawlermen_20150906_16301700.xml
I've been using NextPVR with Kodi for ages just fine. I now have a Chromebook that I'd like to be able to view streams on. I see that NEWA has tabs that seem like they should play back the streams embedded, but they're blank. They're blank on my Windows 10 machines as well in both Internet Explorer, Edge and Chrome.
Is it possible to get an embedded HTML 5 steam to work on those pages? Have I misconfigured something? What are the tabs supposed to do? Same for the Audio tabs. They have a little more interface but still blank nothingness.
Hello,
