I used to have my MVP's (I have two) loose connection to the server on a daily basis. I've added the network tweaks re-built the system, etc. etc. to no avail.
Today I made two simple changes: I elevated the process priority of the GBPVR service a notch, AND I installed the .net 2.0 beta 2 framework.
I'm happy to report this made some big changes (positive ones) to the responsiveness of my MVP's; much more stable, no more connection problems at all any more.
On a related note: I just discovered that MS have released the final version of the .net 2.0 framework. It can be found here:
