Thanks for the great program!
I'd like to stream Live365 MP3 streams to my MediaMVP via GB-PVR. Is this possible? I've tried using WinAmp to generate a .pls playlist of a station but GB-PVR either displays "...buffering" endlessly or displays "Failure connecting to station". Any help?
Thanks

I dont really know anything about Live365. I tried to take a look this afternoon when I saw your questions, but the site is incredibly painful and was trying to get my to sign up and download their player etc.

http://www.live365.com/mediacenter/

that's the url to open (using kiosk mode on IE, -k parameter) to navigate the site using your remote, and it plays the streams using WMP.

only problem I have is I use 800x600 desktop and it works best at 1024x768.

I know it's WMA, but it would be nice to be abel to listen to these on the "pc version" of gbpvr (P3 is the Danish equivalent of BBC Radio One):

I did manage to kludge together a workaround.

1. Set up a Shoutcast Server on port 8000 of my HTPC machine.

2. Set up the Shoutcast DSP plugin for Winamp on that same machine.

3. Played (and thus streamed over Shoutcast) a Live365 station via Winamp.

4. Setup a \net radio .pls playlist pointing to "http://[local IP of my HTPC]:8000"

5. Play this "station" on MVP using GB-PVR

Sounds OK but it doesn't allow me to change the Live365 streams thru Winamp. Any thoughts?
