EPG Download on NovaT, Twinhan DVB-Sat

E4+1 is the main one but The Hits and TMF arnt listed either. The news channels are listed now which I hadnt realised. Im just lazy and you cant tune directly to a channel if that channel doesnt have any epg data.

I didnt mean to sound like I was putting bleb down, cause its great, its just theres a few gaps in the program guides and some programs appear to go on for hours even though the do not on the actual tv.
An example is Point Pleasent on tonight at midnight it says it is 0mins long and the rest of the time the show is actually on has a gap in the EPG. And again my laziness shows again because you cant just click and record that you have to adjust the post show padding.
Im sure ITV1 and 2 start earlier than 9.30 tomorow morning aswell.

Yea I agree that there is no point in using DVB EPG at the moment but Bleb doesn have listings for all the channels I want so I want to use the DVB EPG to get listings for those channels.

Sure, what I meant was... use DVB EPG, but switch off the option to reload entire EPG (can't remember exactly how the option is worded but it's a checkbox underneath where you add TV cards in the config app). Then do an EPG scan. For some reason it may take another scan until the whole EPG is populated.

funkybro is correct. This will help. Over the course of a few days you should find most holes are filled in.

I also have trouble with BBC3 and BBC4 on Nova-T 90002.

All other channels appear to be OK.

Turning off Complete EPG Reload as suggested by FunkyBro and Sub does help. I updated the EPG several times in sucession, checking the EPG between each update and I now have enough BBC4 data to record the shows I need tonight. BBC3 is now complete at least 2 days out. BBC4 EPG entries after 03:00 15/12/05 are missing.

Serveral people have mentioned increasing the harvet or scan time for DVB EPG data but I could not see where to do this in Config or Registry.

Could somebody please point me in the right direction?

I use XMLTV to grab EPG for a PVR-350 and this is working fine.

OK, found <DvbEpgHarvestDuration>120</DvbEpgHarvestDuration> in config.xml.

I'll look a bit harder next time before asking! Or get new glasses.
