sub,
I'm running 95.16 and frequently am unable to clear the GBPVR screensaver on the MVP. When it's in this state, any key pressed on the remote causes the GBPVR logo to immediately jump to it's next location, and the screen saver remains. The only way I've found to get back to a menu is to power down and up the MVP.
I searched the forum and couldn't find any description of this problem.
Attached is a ZIP file containing the log files.
Thanks in advance.

Cheers .... Bob

You could always disable the GB-PVR screen saver.

I find sometimes I have to hit the back/exit button on my 45 button Hauppauge to get the screen saver to go away. I just use it all the time now.

I'm having this same problem. No mater how many times I hit buttons on the remote, the screen saver won't go away. The gbpvr icon just keeps jumping around on the screen every time I press a button. I'm usually able to temporarily fix the problem by closing the MVP Server and re-opening it.

I found if I hit guide I'll go into guide and then I can do what ever I want.

I've found the same problem without MVP (I don't have it). Sometimes a right-click of the mouse has been able to disable it, but right now nothing does it. Ctlr-Alt-Del from the keyboard to get the Taskmanager also wouldn't work.

I logged in via VNC and used the UltraVNC viewer button to generate ctrl-alt-del and it was able to bring up the Taskmanager! Hmm... so what do a vnc connection and the native keyboard have in common and difference? Perhaps there is a clue to the module path that each takes.

P.S.
I still wasn't able to get it to wake from screensaver using the vnc connection. I'll disable the screensaver for now, taking subs suggestion.

Here is a another reason to dump the screensaver. I was watching the CPU in Taskmanager and noticed that it jumped from 1-3% (this was even while recording a show) to 30-35% each time the icon moved on the screensaver. Ouch... if you have a CPU load while recording on a slower machine, this leap might briefly peg the CPU and possibly affect your recording, I'd guess. But that is just a guess.
