Hi Everyone,
2 days ago, I decided to use more features of GBPVR, as I was using only the default ones (but everything worked great! :-)
I enabled the webserver, compskip, and finally update GBPVR, and since I'm having some issue with Live TV.

When I select Live TV, it's like the software is having trouble to open it, and the screen stays black (it's not crashed, and "show status" says "Live TV (RTE1)", so the software thinks he is in Live TV but it is not).
By insisting, hitting escape and enter again, I can get it to work, but the picture/sound is jumping.

Looking at the logs, the only thing I found that didn't look right was the following :

getValue: /settings/LoggingLevel : Error
10/01/2006 12:52:00.304 ERROR [2] Unable to find node: /settings/SpecialElements/SpecialElement[@name="MenuType"]
10/01/2006 12:52:00.491 ERROR [2] Unable to find node: /settings/SpecialElements/SpecialElement[@name="Inset"]

Of course, I disabled all the plugin, compskip, webserver, but nothing changed.

I'm using the composite input of my PVR150 for the TV (coming from a digital STB).

Any idea of what can be the problem?

Thanks in advance,
Yann

I forgot to add that using winTV2000, picture and sound are fine.

Using the TV Guide in GBPVR, if I select a show and select "watch", nothing happens, but the system is not crashed, I hit escape and I'm back to the tv guide.

weird...

The default one (blue).
I found something new : there is a log in "My Video" directory, with the following error :

14:15:18:890 - DShow ERROR BaseCrossbar::SetVideoSource get_CrossbarPinInfo -- Fonction incorrecte.
14:15:19:000 - DShow ERROR BaseCrossbar::SetVideoSource get_CrossbarPinInfo -- Fonction incorrecte.
14:15:19:203 - DShow ERROR BaseCrossbar::SetVideoSource get_CrossbarPinInfo -- Fonction incorrecte.

These are normal and can be safely ignored. These settings are only used in some skins.

Which video decoder do you have selected in the GB-PVR Config app?

The one provided with PowerDVD.
Anyway, I try to backup my XP drive quite often, in case this kind of event happens. And yesterday, I went to restore a working backup (that I did before doing all these updates), and fatal crash from windows, I lost XP (first time that this happens to me, the backup/restore function works really well usually).

So, I fixed my problem! but I destroyed my partition with it :-)
So I guess I know what I'm going to do today...Install :-)

Thanks for the help anyway,

Yann
