Strange problem. Been running GBPVR just fine, tried DVD playback for the first time today. I put in a DVD, it plays through the previews and the FBI warnings just fine. It starts to pull up the DVD menu and "GBPVR has caused an error". I get a windows error message and GBPVR exits. I checked my config and intervideo is selected for DVD playback. Am I missing something here?

I played the DVD just fine through intervideo. Please help

I should add, it doesn't matter what DVD I put in so I don't think it's a disk problem

Just completed a brand new HTPC build with the latest ver of GBPVR and I'm experiencing the same problem.
1. Doesn't matter what DVD is used.
2. Always aborts after root menu selection to Play Movie.
3. Using default codecs.
4. Plays fine in WMP or WinDVD v5

I'll post my log when I get home from work.

My particular problem turned out to be two separate, but related issues:
1. Only fullscreen versions of DVDs wouldn't play on my HDTV. Widescreen seemed unaffected.
2. Once I disconnected my HDTV and used only my LCD monitor, then all formats (full or widescreen) worked fine.

Solution was to trash older video drivers (used because of some unwanted artifacts) and load latest Nvidia reference drivers. Then I let the card detect my HDTV (Philips Plasma), selected clone mode and used the default 720p timings (1024x768x60Hz). Once HTPC was rebooted (to ensure settings took, I then used the overscan optimization feature to tweak the desktop.

Now all DVD formats play without a hitch. The only thing I can figure is that my previous custom timings were giving the mpeg decoder fits. A side benefit was that the latest reference driver seems to have cleared up the artifact issue I was having before.
