Can you run ComClean manually

I use both pre and post padding during scheduled recording so I added logic to Comskip to find the actual beginning and ending of the show.
Therefore I am interrested if that logic also works for other people.
I already found I should add a "delete show before first commercial" for people using a lot of prepadding.

Comclean2 works great. Already had cuttermaran installed. Only change I had to make was changing comskip.ini file to write out cuttermaran's .cpf file by changing the following (found this in another post, thanks)...
output_cuttermaran=1

Now if I can just pause the bat file processing in cuttermaran so I can get chapter added every ~10 minutes. Anyone had luck doing this? I checked the auto chapter box in the mux tab but I don't see any chapters being created.

I am having a similar problem to SteveO, i.e. comclean1 renames the original show to SHOWNAME_original.mpg, but doesn't produce a second SHOWNAME.mpg file.

As this is being attempted on an archived file, the only comskip txt file left is the SHOWNAME.txt, all the other txt files appear to have been trashed in the arhive. Can erik confirm I need ALL the txt files produced by comskip?

btw is there a summary of uses and merits of comclean1, 2, 3 4 anywhere?

[EDIT] Ignore that, what I had done wrong was NOT put mpgtx in C:\Progarm Files\devnz\gbpvr. The .bat file has it fixed at this dir... i.e. "set mpgtx="c:\Program Files\devnz\gbpvr\mpgtx.exe" Sorry!

does anyone here use projectx to directly cut out commercials of .ts by hand? it seems like a one stop shop if you simply want to cut the commercials by skimming through the video, and end up with the original .ts minus commercials, anyone know if it has any issues when doing cutting or joining files?
i used it to join two halves of a college basketball game and edit out the commercials, the resulting .ts file plays fine in VLC, zplayer (didn't try gbpvr), but if i try to transcode it, the point within the larger .ts where the two halves were joined causes some problems (there is no video from the "seam" until about 5 minutes into the 2nd half)
