:O even if its 54g? If its worse anything, i do have a very large network(two wireless routers, both 54g under the same network). And the PVR will be right under one of the routers. But even if there is a possibilty of file transfers failing, that ill use an ethernet cable than.

whenever you have the option to use cable - take it it's much faster and often cheaper.

if you have a strong signal, you may be fine.

What i wanted to point out is that big video files can take a looong time to copy over a wireless link.

if your objective is to watch content that you have on a different pc, it may be preferable to watch (stream) it over a hard wired link (via a network share) than it is to copy the files over to the pvr pc.

For what it's worth, I have two of my Media MVPs working perfectly on a wireless network. They are wired to a Viewsonic wireless repeater (Wireless G plus - 125) from a Viewsonic wireless router. The wired and wireless mvps are indistinguishable as far as performance goes, even with live tv. I have heard of the potential problems wirelss can cause, but I have yet to experience it.
