Newbie question. Please help. First PVR Build

Hi

I am new to this pvr community and i want to build my own. All i want to do it build a pvr for pvr use only. I found this guy selling an old computer with these specs. Can I buy this old system and put a video card and hauppauge pvr 150 in it and run GB Pvr and be set? Is this processor enough to run this function? Thanks in advance to all that help.

Here are the specs of the computer i found.
- Pentium III 850 processor
- 512MB of PC100 ECC ram
- 4.1 sound card
- 2 empty PCI slots (i will add pvr 150 and an video card)
- all this is included in a computer case which i will just use as the case for the pvr

yes, it is enough for a pvr-only machine. if you look at my specs, you will see that they are equally low.

i have 3 tv cards and i can record three shows at the same time without problem (or record two and watch live tv, etc etc.).

however, if i watch live tv and e.g. start the tv guide the live tv sometimes stutters a little for half a second.
