Hi,
I have just got hold GB-PVR (which looks great by the way).

I am having a couple of problems getting it going!

1) I have a Hauppauge PVR250, yet I can't select the 350 driver in the config - When I run GBPVR I tells me there is no available 350 board.

2) If I click on Live TV I get the message 'Failed to communicate with the GB-PVR recording service, this software is possibly not running'.... etc.

Any ideas?!? [Image: rock.gif]

I have done the usual restart, update drivers etc. but with no joy.

I got really excited when I saw this program as I have been trying to get ShowShifter to work (with no luck, as it does not fully support the PVR250).

Some help would be great [Image: biggrin.gif]

Cheers guys/gals

1) You can only select the "Hauppuage PVR350" hardware decoder if you have a PVR350. If you have a PVR250 you need to select to use the software decoder.

2) Add a capture source, and make sure you check the "setting" button for the Recording Source, EPG Source and Channel Changer (if active) - it sounds like one of the settings doesn't have a value. It is also possible to get this error if you installed the microsoft .net runtime after installing GB-PVR. If this is the case, uninstall and reinstall GB-PVR and try again.

Post here again if you dont get it going, and we'll take a closer look.

Thanks for the fast reply man!! [Image: biggrin.gif]

I have mannaged to get some kind of fuzzy signal on the screen now! woohoo

K - Am I being a bit thick? I can't see anywhere to tune in the card, so all I am getting is 'snow'

I think just clicking on the settings enabled something (original problem)

cheers man
