Is there a command line option for GBPVR for restarting the Recording service?

I would like to use Girder to have a button on my remote do this (then no need for the keyboard)

I need to do this every now and then when GBPVR starts to play up a bit.

Any ideas.

Thanks
Mark

It sounds like a bad idea to me, but you could restart it by issuing the following commands:

Code:
net stop "GB-PVR Recording Service"
net start "GB-PVR Recording Service"

Personally, I think you're better off working out what is causing your problem and fixing that instead.

Thanks SUB

I would like to fix the cause. Specifically it is this

Only restarting the Recording Service - or rebooting seems to work.

I thought Kindred359 provided you a patch for that?

Hi Sub

The link is corrupt - or at least I get a message saying the zip file is corrupt.

I noticed your post saying that you will have this fixed in the next release. Just figured it was easier going down this path until your next release.

I just checked the attachment on his post and can open it fine. Some IE6 users have problems with attachments on this forum for some reason. If you've got Firefox, or disable the HTTP 1.1 settings in your Internet Explorer settings, then you should be able to download it.
