I had some problems with timezone settings.

This ssems to be OK now. At least the XML-Data is ok. But when I update GB-PVR, double entrys with one hour offset are created. I tryed to empty all EPG-Data, but all is still here.

I think, the 'Empty-EPG'-Button is not doing what it should...
One solution may be, to delete the capture source, but I dont like to tune all channels over and over again.

Therfore my question: How to *really* empty EPG data?

Empty EPG will remove all programmes. After using it, go into the TV guide and see if you still have listings visible. You should see none listed.

Hi Sub
Sorry, everything is still here.

Maybe it's important to say that I have a PVR350 and a PVR250, both attached to the same source (cable-tv). So I empty EPG twice, close the dialog and configuration. But the tv guide is still populated.

For configuration I setup both cards with the same values, point twice to the same xml file and import the same tv-data twice.
Is this correct? I would be nice if that can be done in one step, but with a second source. Any chance for that?

Both capture sources are treated differently because they often have different line ups. Its not worth adding a special case to treat things differently if they happen to have the same line up - it'd just make things more complicated from a programming perspective.

The Empty EPG must be encountering some error. Try repeating it, then email the config.exe.log to me at support@devnz.com and I'll take a look.

Alternatively just remove and recreate the capture sources. (delete them one at a time, then going close out and restart to check they're gone. Try it a couple of times if they dont delete first go)

At that time sub came with a new release. So, I reinstalled GB-PVR completely. The actual problem was not really solved, but I have no problem since then...

An unwanted, IMHO, side-effect of doing an "empty "EPG" is that all information of already recorded shows are lost.

Could this be changed so that only EPG entries "from now and forward in time", gets deleted?

(I sent sub my log file, but he did not find anything :-(

Easiest way to do this Blader would be to have Recorded show information go into a seperate table instead of staying in the Program Guide. (I.e. copy it from the program guide to the recorded show information table).

This way you could empty the guide and still keep your information for the recorded shows.

Just a suggestion.

Yes, now that I know the behaviour ;-)
From now on, I make sure to "export" the info (using the Xrecord plugin).

But I guess the warning about deleting upcomming recordings (when hitting "delete EPG&quotWink could be complemented with info about recordings info being deleted, if it's not possible to alter the behaviour.

BTW, is there anyone that "successfully" emptied EPG?
