Problems playing DVD's

Howdy! I just installed GBPVR and have everything working except I can't hear net radio and when I play DVD's it does this funky thing where there are black bars running about every inch or so and then messes up. It's really hard to describe. DVD's play fine in winDVD.

Here is my setup:
TV - Samsung 47" RPTV HDTV
MB - K8NGM2-FID
memory - 2x 512Mb OCZ
Athlon 3700+ san deigo
TV Card - Avermedia A180 with BDA drivers
remote - MCE Remote
HD - 40 gig Seagate - currently used for OS and recordings, but have another 250gig IDE maxtor that I will install shortly for records
DVD player - phillips DVD-ROM
OS - WinXP Home
Decoder - Nvidia Pure Video
