Hello,

I finally got GB-PVR v 97.7 set up and working properly, and for the most part, I could not be happier with it! However, I am having one strange problem. Whenever I close GB-PVR, I receive the error message shown below. I took this graphic from Sub's post on this thread, but the dialogue box is exactly the same. This seems to be a different problem than the one sub addresses, because it happens only when I exit GB-PVR (it happens no matter how I exit, whether by closing the window or selecting "exit" via the remote), and does not seem to be affected by the "Direct access to Hauppauge remote" setting (I have a Hauppage remote and use this option, but I tried deselecting it to no avail).

This is not a huge problem in that it doesn't seem to have any effects other than displaying the error message; my recordings all seem to be fine. However, it's quite annoying and I would like to rectify it if I can.

Any help on this matter is appreciated.

Thanks!

See if you can recreate this error w/ logging enabled. Then post log file so that Sub and others may be able to troubleshoot.

I didn't have this problem, until I just did a reinstall of GBPVR, and now I do. (one day I'll remember: if it ain't broke, don't fix it.....)

Hi guys, actually I am having the same problem as well...fresh install of XP Pro, GB-PVR, .NET 2.0, etc. but when I also get the error upon exiting. (Using Hauppauge 350's tv-out with NativeUtilities.dll fix from http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?t=16130. Also using hauppauge 45 button remote.) Please let me know if you need logs, my system details, etc. I am new to the whole HTPC market but this software looks awesome. Seems to work perfectly for me except upon exiting the software.

I had the exact same problem, and same situation. I had just reloaded windows, and GBPVR. When exiting I got the same error. The fix I had found was in the misc tab on settings I had "Use Direct Acess to Hauppauge Remote" selected. After deselecting this I had no more issues. Im running a Hauppauge 150 with remote. I hope this helps.
