GBPVR and the Windows screen saver?

What are the conditions in which GBPVR will prevent the Windows screen saver from kicking in?

I have noticed that sometimes my screen saver will not run after the set amount of time and it seems to coincide with an active GBPVR recording. The GUI is not open just the tray icon indicating that a recording is taking place.

Is there a setting in the config.xml that I can change to prevent GBPVR from controlling the Windows screen saver in any way.

It only tries to stop the screen saver while watching a video. There is no setting that controls this.
