OK... I'm still new to all this and I have a few important questions.

My setup will be.
My PC with a Hauppauge PVR-150 located in my office running GBPVR and GBPVR server.
My TV and a MediaMPV in my living room.

Neither have line of sight to each other but of course the MVP and the PC are networked.

Assume GBPVR running on the MVP will be the TV screen front end and I'll be using the MVP remote as the living room MVP control device.

1. Can I be in my living room viewing and changing channels of 'live TV'?

2. Can I be in my living room and view the GBPVR TV Guide on my TV and jump to a channel?

3. Can I be in my living room and 'schedule a recording' from the GBPVR TV Guide?

4. Can I be in my living room and 'hit record' on my TV to immediately record the current viewed channel?

In short at the TV does the MVP and its remote running GBPVR as the frontend provide two way networked interactivity with the PC tuner and PVR functions running on the PC?

This thread seems to say I should be able to do what I've asked here. Yes / No?

The four answers are: YES you can. My advice is start simple with the basic system. Once this is stable, try experimenting with some plugins and utilities as you need them. Do not try to run before you can walk. The basic setup is easy if you follow the quick install from the WIKI. If something goes wrong my experience was that you have an answer versy soon here.

Thanks pz. I do plan on starting out simple but the more I know now, the quicker the learning curve.
