gbpvr won't see hauppauge 350 card

1st I had just the pvr-350 card and all was fine, then I got a Hauppauge pvr-150MCE (not knowing it's kills the pvr-350 remote :mad: ) and installed that card, it looks like it's installed fine in windows and I added it to config.exe in the capture source tab, then I used the DeviceTypeCheck utility and only the pvr-150 was there, and obviously with no luck in gbpvr, so I took the pvr-150 back out in frustration and just used the 350 again, but gbpvr will not see it, I even removed the 350 and used the Hauppauge uninstall utility to remove all the drivers and reinstalled the 350 but still no luck in gbpvr......

any help would be wonderful

Just ignore the devicetypecheck utility. Setup two capture sources. One as a PVR350 and device #1. The other as a PVR150 and device #2. If it doesnt seem to work, try swapping the device numbers.

I will try that again later today but when I did have both cards installed and set up I started gbpvr and went to live tv mode and gbpvr sat there for a bit then sayd "Object reference not set to an instance of an object", and thats all.....thats where I tryed the 350 again........

That was probably the device numbers needing to be swapped.

THANKS!!, that worked......the only other question I have is, why wouldnt gbpvr see just the 350 after I removed the 150mce??

I dont know. Maybe because it caused a change in the device numbers.
