2x ati tv wonder elite problems

two cards, the only way they both work if they are both set to board 1. but if i am recording i can not watch live tv, it goes to a blank screen. but if i'm watching live tv while a recording starts it works fine but i can't get back in to watch tv if i exit the live tv.
and if i turn off the live tv preview mode thing or set deinterlacing to anytihng other than encoder pass through it works just fine.
Any ideas??

You could try setting <AutoDetectEncoderMethod>1</AutoDetectEncoderMethod> in config.xml. It might help.

One should be set as device #1, the other should be set as device #2.

interesting, i tried to set it back to 2 and now it still crashes
which log?? what's the file called (soory total newb to this pcpvr stuff)

go to program files/devnz/gbpvr and zip up everything ending in .log
to post the file hit the paperclip button above where you're typing in the forum, and it should be self explanatory from there.......

btw, it still crashes i'v tried repairing, and uninstalling, i'm going to try to uninstall again and then delete the folder

Unfortunately all the GBPVRRecordingService.exe.log in your zip file a zero bytes longs. Can you delete all the log files from your directory, try again to reproduce the error and repost the logs?

Make sure the device numbers are successfully set to #1 and #2 before you do the test. One of the files in those logs looked like you have them both set to device #1.
