What you’re asking for isn’t possible in some (most?) countries because the EPG source doesn’t contain that information.
I agree it would be kind of cool to have a list of premiere’s scrolling on the main GBPVR screen. The logic involved would be difficult, because you’d need to use both the original-air-date and episode / production-number to determine a first-episode premiere. But maybe it’s something that could be done in the future using Jeff’s VA-Panel? What country are you in? If you use Zap2It for your EPG source, TVGuideSupercharger may do part of what you’re looking for. Search for [Space *] and GBPVR or the WebAdmin lists all the new shows. Now if sub would just add “*” and “ *” to the search character list, I could search for movies and premiere’s from the MPV….. Howbout it sub?

Well for show pilots, it does say pilot in the tv guide listing. and everyshow thats a rerun has an |R| in the listing. so for show premier's it could only figure that out if 1. it isn't a rerun. and 2 last weeks was. I would think that would catch most of them. Oh, I'm in the US and using Zap2It.
I think a "Watch for" list could be nice. lets say you see a new show coming up in a month, you could enter it into the list an when it finally shows up on the EPG it could either notify you, or just record the show.

Yes it should be possible, but the information you get at the TV Guide’s web site and the xmltv Zap2It EPG download are a little different.
If the Zap2It xmltv download includes “pilot” or something similar, it would be possible to add pilot to the genre list. This is something I’ve avoided in the past with I-xmltv because I prefer not to modify the core xmltv structure. But I do think adding a pilot genre would be the best way, because changing the title would affect scheduling. A new genre could be used for EWA searches, and possibly on the main GBPVR menu using other plugins like the VA panel. A future project I guess, unless sub wants to add pilot (and movie) as a built-in feature of GBPVR when using xmltv? PS. Sub, my request for * was poorly phrased because it had been such long time since I looked into it. I need to have a leading space before “*” and “(“ to search for premiere's and movies because they are near the end of the title. I guess there isn’t a way unless characters can be combined or something? Thanks! Jim
