First, I have a problem with FFDShow under GB-Pvr. The only filter I'm trying to use is the resize filter, and I get audio and video out of synch. I have enough cpu left to take care of this, but whatever I do, it affects the FPS, and you get a delay between audio and video. Also, FFDShow seems to work, even if you do not set the check box for this in GB_Pvr config. Is this correct? Also, I have three tuners in my machine, PVR-150mce for analogue input and a dual Nova-T500 for digital input. FFDShow seems to work for the analogue card, but not the digital one. Am I missing something? If I don;t solve problem one, this point is kind of redundent, but just in case.

The other problems I'm having is to do with the remote. I've set up the MCE remote, with hip to change the channel on my stb. That all works fine, but I get double key-presses for certain keys on the remote. I know this is fixed by installing the replacement driver for the remote, but I also have the MCE keyboard, which stops working with the replacement driver. Anything I can do in HIP perhaps to overcome this problem.

These are slight annoyances to anotherwise excellent product. It can do stuff that MCE can't, high on my list was a mix of analogue and digital tuners with multiple epgs. You just cannot do this in MCE unless both cards have the same epg, and then you have to hack it!!

Yes, it can be normal. ffdshow can be pretty aggressive about making sure it is used - even in apps that have no knowledge of it. There are some settings somewhere in the ffdshow configuration that affect how aggressive it is.

Sorry I cant really help you with the other things. ffdshow and HIP arent things I can provide support for - you'd have to ask their respective authors.

thanks...

I did kind of guess that what I'm asking has nothing to do with GB-pvr. I was hoping someone else had the same problem, and solved it.

Again thanks anyway...great program!!
