Sub, did you find the time to experiment? I know you're a busy man. [Image: wink.gif]

I still have no clue how to get sound from mp3 files. In my setup - PVR250 and XCard - from which connector should the sound be coming from?

Sorry, I didn't notice your last post. With my new development machine I also getting this problem. I've not yet worked out why, but I am looking at it.

I noticed that when I click on a song there is a "shake" on the screen, like the image is redrawn after a pause of 0,2 second or so. Maybe GBPVR assumes somehow that it is a video file?

It actually seems to all connect up correctly, and the system thinks its playing, but the audio is going nowhere. I've still not got a work around.

Could the audio be going to an sp/dif output? This is just a thought on my part, I'm not a programmer...

Hi,

Did this issue get sorted???

I have a similar problem - MP3's won't play (well, no sound is output).

I have a PVR-250, and Recordings/Live TV sound is working. I assume everything should be coming out through my soundcard....

Thanks.

Yes, the original problem raised here was fixed. This related to playing back MP3 files via the XCard.

Are you trying playback via a XCard or PVR350, or is this just trying to playback via you PC speakers/soundcard?

Thanks - its via the sound card (I am using a PVR-250) - different problem, I have started a new topic.

Cheers.
